It's all completely pointless. The standings are determined by points, so that is all that matters. I was just shooting at the tone of a post that would claim the Sabres are a .500 team. It's either denial or shennanigans. You know Larry Quinn actually had the Sabres' statistician contact the Buffalo News a few years ago trying to claim some bologna just like this. I forgot who it was that had it in their snippit, but you could tell they weren't amused being "corrected". It's stuff like that which makes me detest the current group in charge.
