Sergei Zubov-The Stars may still make a push but the Jackets, Sabres and Caps are surely leading this. *Kessel > Add Buffalo to this race...Definitely on Edmonton and Vancouver's radar. Colorado and Tampa are also possibilities here...I really would not rule out Kessel for Kaberle at all. *Tanguay> At this point it is a probably a two horse race. Tampa and Phoenix. However, this changes hourly. While Tampa is being reported as being close to a deal, I am hearing that nothing is imminent at this hour...Again, things change. *Buffalo> The Sabres are interested in Cheechoo. Dominic Moore-Edmonton and Buffalo are probably the most out front, but Pittsburgh Ottawa and Chicago are also interested. Had a great start to last year but trailed off. *Jovonovski> Could he be heading back to Florida? *The Blues and Sens have interest in Afinogenov. *The Flyers are looking to free some cap space for a relatively minor signing and may have a deal to send a player to Phoenix or LA on the table. Agreed that the vast majority of his posts are Eck-related. But he participates in and starts other discussions from time to time, and really, who cares? It's the reader's choice to read the thread, and Bam always makes it clear when it's Eckshit. Maybe his thing is keeping us up to date on hockeyliesandcrap.com (as GR calls it). If Regier actually made trades and signed actual hockey players that could help this team than there would be other things to talk about other than rumors. We are not talking about moves to get this team to a Stanley Cup. If this team made any effort to improve this team than rumor posts or posts complaining about a lack of direction wouldn't garner any attention. The Sabres give their fans nothing else to talk about.
