X. Benedict
Rory Fitzpatrick That is not such a bad choice, if I remember he absorbed a majority of the disparaging rants so the rest of the team could concentrate on their game.

Realist
Have to with Drury, they really missed his leadership this year. With him in the lineup, I don't think we blow so many leads this year.
ExiledInIllinois
Grier OR Dumont... I guess that is two... Both equal.
jimiVbaby
Marty Biron. TBO = Loss. Miller is entirely overworked, and if Marty were still around he wouldn't have to be.
Claude Balls
Ty Conklin, he definitely would have given us the few extra points we needed to have been locked into the playoffs already. Others - Doug Janik and Denis Hamel.

I was hoping to see him as a Sabre for a long time. No such luck.
inkman
Ty Conklin, he definitely would have given us the few extra points we needed to have been locked into the playoffs already. ...but would he have flourished this year without being thrown into the fire and logging all those minutes? Being an occasionally used starter is way different than being a regular starter and establishing a rythum.

It takes a special mentality to be able to get yourself ready to play only 15 or so games. Its what made Biron the perfect back up because he had that carefree attitude. Ironically, its what makes him less than an ideal starter. Everyone, or most everyone, thought Thibault was going to be an upgrade over Conklin. Finding the right guy is now back in Darcy's lap and the best bet may be to find a career back up rather than an aging starter whose skill set has diminished.
