I would put McLeod in that group too.

Could be complementary skill sets of their linemates. The Sabres needed more grit and they got it in Doan. McCloud plays pretty fast but isn't overly physical. Tuch is physical and skilled. It sets Doan up in a good position. Meanwhile in Utah (and granted I don't know much about the team), maybe Cooley and Guenther are defensively responsible enough that a free roaming JJP doesn't hurt the line's +/- numbers.

Krebs is a get-under-the-skin agitator. It's less tangible than scoring or physical hits, but he gets opponents off their game.

P.S. I like our 4th line too. Same. On both counts.

When Sabres show up? The "This is the way we play" team or the vastly inferior slackers? Let's hope the Real Sabres show up (and the Real Sabres are the good ones!) The season is young but if the Sabres want to show they're in the hunt, they need to play like this is a MUST WIN!

We have a playmaking 1C on IR. I'd take Metsa over Bryson, but I'd play him several more games to make sure. Would also like to see the Russians thought too.

That's typical for a battery these days (for a non-hybrid). I got the battery replaced on my wife's Escape this summer (one month after the warrant expired naturally). O'Reilly says they replace batteries but I'm not sure they knew what they were getting into when they did the Escape. The battery is up against the firewall, beneath the cowl, which had to be removed, which meant pulling the windshield wipers. Not actually that hard of a job but significantly more involved that undoing the battery clamp and dropping a new one in. I then remembered that the reason we went to the repair shop last time is O'Reilly said it wasn't a simple replacement and they couldn't do it for free. But they did this time.
