Well, with today's bombshell and the possibility that Pegula might still be in town.....maybe GMKA should go see Pegula and propose he has a "bargain" proposal to buyout Jeff Skinner.....for the long term good of the Sabres. Strike while the iron is hot!!! 🙃

I'm hoping he'll become a modern day version of Pat Verbeek.

The OP gave us two options, so I chose the gritty team vs. current one. No doubt most everybody wants a combination of both, but that is not a survey option. What I think the results indicate is how poorly ownership & management understand what the Buffalo fans want (or don't want). Give us a tough, hard working team that puts in an effort every night and we'll still like our team (even when they lose). Give us a bunch of lazy, wimpy players...we can care less, especially when they lose.

I don't know if they're physically slow, but IMHO they hesitate. They are too timid to attach pucks aggressively. If they played with reckless abandon, then they would get to more pucks.

"Should" is the key word here.....Unfortunately players that "will" be on the team will be a different story.

Cozens needs to seriously gain strength and weight this off-season. He needs to be able to physically play harder than his skinny body allows right now.

Wouldn't it make a statement if the Toronto ownership came to attend the game in person at KeyBank....while our own ownership is missing (as usual).
