I'm personally hoping he comes up with a new job.....far, far away from the Buffalo Sabres. -

The people of Buffalo should sue Terry Pegula for emotional distress caused by his negligence and gross mis-management. -

So what "learning" experience will HCDG cite to explain tonight's game? -

Why are the coaches even there on the bench.....just send them back to the locker room and let the players come up with a gameplan. -

Put the 4th line on the PP.....I'm tired of watching our top talent do nothing -

Another lost draw....probably another 1 shot PP coming. Correction, more like 0 shots....SMH -
Biggest Sabres issue - losing the 1st period badly too often
Carmel Corn replied to Big Guava's topic in The Aud Club
The key here is that Pegula went with young, less established guys that he could easily CONTROL. Pegula ended up not liking GMTM's style and then GMJBOT walked because the meddlesome owner became "cheap" JBOT parted ways abruptly. GMKA was an easy hire because he had no experience whatsoever....easy to control again. -
Why should Granato and the assistants be brought back?
Carmel Corn replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
My cynical view is that HCDG has two more years under contract that Pegula won't pay for nothing....so that's maybe $4 million (?) of incentive that Pegula will consider to NOT fire HCDG. To be clear, I really want him fired.....YESTERDAY!!! -
The culture in Buffalo is so bad that McDavid, McKinnon and Matthews could be added to the roster and they would end up looking like Krebs, Jost and VO in just a few games.

Would you trade expected fall roster for an expansion roster?
Carmel Corn replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
Does this question also imply a new GM and coaching staff? If so, then yes. -
Well, with today's bombshell and the possibility that Pegula might still be in town.....maybe GMKA should go see Pegula and propose he has a "bargain" proposal to buyout Jeff Skinner.....for the long term good of the Sabres. Strike while the iron is hot!!! 🙃

How Good Do You Think Zac Benson Will Be?
Carmel Corn replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
I'm hoping he'll become a modern day version of Pat Verbeek. -
The OP gave us two options, so I chose the gritty team vs. current one. No doubt most everybody wants a combination of both, but that is not a survey option. What I think the results indicate is how poorly ownership & management understand what the Buffalo fans want (or don't want). Give us a tough, hard working team that puts in an effort every night and we'll still like our team (even when they lose). Give us a bunch of lazy, wimpy players...we can care less, especially when they lose.

Players that should NOT be on this team next year
Carmel Corn replied to WhenWillItEnd66's topic in The Aud Club
"Should" is the key word here.....Unfortunately players that "will" be on the team will be a different story.
