  1. no, didn't like either of them. I'd take Eklund over both of them.... ..but not over Power 🙂 my top 5 (as of now).. Power Eklund McTavish Clarke Guenther
  2. hahaha love it 0.5 ppg is crazy good for the SHL?
  3. 11 goals in 40 games in the swedish league? Elite skating, vision and hockey sense should result in more production for a winger... shouldn't it? I love his package of skill, skating and hockey sense... but his lack of production is a concern IMO.
  4. I like both Clarke and McTavish better than Beniers. I think he (Beniers) drops out of the top 5. Clarke when at his best looks a lot like Makar... which is very inticing, but just haven't seen enough of it.
  5. Beniers profiles out to ROR? I don't see it. Love his compete level, but his skills and offensive awareness are very average IMO.
  6. Barzal or ROR? lol If you're talking ceilings, Power could reach Hedman... his floor is Ekblad (who, btw went #1 OA). Beniers is good prospect, hard working 2way center. I like his game, but he'll never put up points at the same rate as Barzal or ROR.... i see him top out at a 40-45pt guy. Eklund might be a 25 goal guy someday (11 in 40 games in the swedish league isnt that impressive). Don't get me wrong, I like his game, but Power's hockey sense is just so impressive at his age.
  7. Agreed. It's his elite hockey sense, skating and vison that makes him special. He went from 7th d-man at the Worlds to their #1 guy, playing 25min a game, OT, PP and PK. That's never happened for an 18 year old at thay tournament.
  8. Power is berserko Riso, elite hockey sense, plus skating and elite vision. IMO he's only scratched the surface of what he can become.
  9. Beniers is not high end skill. I went Power and McTavish, but I'd also be down for Clarke and Eklund if they move down.
  10. I wish Granato success, but I just don't see it happening here. Really don't care how likeable of guy he is, what his interviews are like or how well he can develop young players (that's what the AHL is for). To me It's all about winning hockey games... and I'm concerned he'll consistently get outcoached by guys like Cooper, Quenneville, and Cassidy in the division. Hope he proves me wrong, but I have very low expectations at this point.
  11. Yep. I've been saying this from day one. Don't trade him unless you get a screaming deal. Don't care if he wants to be here or not... too bad so sad... nobody feels bad for him earning $10mil to play a game.
  12. Not sure he has the top end speed to compete at the NHL level 🤔
  13. Reinhart for Jones straight up. I, for one, like Jones game. He eats minutes and is capable offensively. He had a down year, buy low.
  14. I Donny as a person. I also liked Ralph and Phil, good people. As a hockey coach tho 🤔
  15. I don't see much offensive upside w Beniers. Maybe a 15g, 20a guy at best. Is that worthy of #1 overall 🤔
  16. I like Konecny. Would need more tho for Samson.
  17. Agree w everything but #3. Owen Power is a stud prospect. He'll shore up a top 2 or 3 d spot for the next 15 years, no doubt. You don't pass that up, especially inna weak draft.
  18. If an Eichel trade doesn't work out, I see him being a model citizen. He'll show up for camp, train, buy in.. etc. He's not going to grenade his own career out of spite. He's not that guy.
  19. SEA has to pick 30 players... a minimum of 14 F, 9 D, and 3 G. The total of which must count at least $43.8m (~$1.5m/player) towards their 21-22 cap. It should be easy to hit the floor.
