Hmmmm, I wasn't very impressed with O'Reilly's game last night. Seemed to turn the puck over too much, trying to do too much perhaps? That line didn't generate much, hopefully they can build some chemistry.

Played only 11 minutes last night, was moved off Eichel's line down to the 3rd line and didn't see much ice in the 3rd. With the way Eichel's line played with Girgensons on the wing, I doubt Reinhart sniffs a top 6 spot for the rest of the season unless injuries. I'll say it again, +20 minutes in Roch is better than 10 min in BUF for his development. Still too weak on the puck, seemed like he spent half those 11 minutes picking himself up off the ice.

I like the goal song. Not a big fan of how they're mixing it with the "here we go now" over and over, sounds like it's skipping around... just let it play like in the contest.

Same. Talbot looked good, as did M. Jones. Would've rather had either of those two for a first round pick.

My problem with the challenge last night is that it took way too long to review. If it's not obvious in the first 30s of looking at replays, then it should be ruled inconclusive and we move on. It's the obvious missed call they're trying to eliminate, not the "offsides by 1 mm" plays which take forever to review. Hopefully they address that.

His injury changes nothing he was shaky at best. OchoCinco looked deece.

Just finished up a bike ride to release some tension. Shower, pop open a Labatt's and settle in. Can finally hope this team starts winning some games which is a nice feeling for a change.

If you drink enough water, coke can be completely out of your system (undetectable) in 24hrs. The problem with coke is it keeps you up all night... enter one Mike Richards with his stockpile of oxy's and norco's for that restful night sleep after a night of getting completely spracked.

Hopefully they score a goal on Thurs, otherwise we'll need to wait until Saturday to find out.

Which Buffalo Sabre scores the first goal of the 2015-16 season?

Now a beer league player in southern california, I can say with first hand experience that the cocaine problem has trickled down to all levels of play.

Today's lines in practice had Foligno-Girgensons-Reinhart as the 3rd line, with a 4th line of Deslauriers-Legwand-McGinn/Larsson.

Disagree. To me he's very very close, but his strength on the puck and along the wall just isn't NHL caliber yet. I watched him closely in pre-season and it seemed every 3rd or 4th puck battle he would literally get knocked down off his skates. That can't happen, he needs a stronger base, let him build that up in Roch... it might only take a few months, but it's better right now at his age that he plays and plays a lot with skilled players. Right. They could leave all 13 forwards (with Reinhart) on the roster. However, like Bylsma said the other day... "For him to play 30 games here this year and be here the whole year, (it’s) probably not the best for his development as a player,” Bylsma said inside the First Niagara Center. ...sounds to me like he's headed to Roch... which is the right move. Let McCormick be the guy that plays 8min once or twice a week. Reinhart needs minutes, with skill players, PP time, etc... Roch is perfect for where he's at.

We're still talking about the goal song right? Tomorrow they'll announce the 2 finalists... so get your votes in today! http://sabres.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=107670

I'm sure it was worse back in the 80's and 90's, but it sounds like it's making a comeback. Good that the league is making this public, time to do something about it, kids are ruining their lives.

Interesting. The 4 he's referring to are Reinhart, McGinn, Larsson and Girgensons. Has Zemgus not had a good camp? Kinda surprised he's lumped in with those 3. McGinn has had a good camp, so I don't see either of those 2 being the odd man out... so it comes down to Reinhart and Larsson. Larsson was one of the best players down the stretch last season. That said, I hope they make the right move and start Reinhart in Roch. If he's really too good for the AHL he'll tear it up down there and his stay won't be long. Let him earn it.

They only have 23 healthy players (Bogosian is out) on the roster so they don't need to make any more moves before Thursday. They have 13 forwards, so one of Reinhart, McGinn, or Larsson will likely not dress Thursday. And they'll likely go with 7 D, so one of Colaiacovo, Donovan, McCabe or Pysyk will likely not dress. My money is on Reinhart and McCabe. When Bogosian returns, they'll need to send somebody down to make room, but it sounds like he could miss another 2 weeks maybe 3, which is enough time for the forward situation to work itself out.

That is one sorry ass lineup. Heard of some of them, but wow, ugly. I played against McElhinney during the summers here in socal when he was with the Ducks... he was terrible, couldn't be he was in the NHL.
