  1. This is it. This is the turning point for this much maligned franchise. A victory today and a 3 game winning streak turns into 10, carrying this momentum into a playoff birth for the first time in 12 years. On the shoulders of a hot UPL they win their first league championship in franchise history, capturing 5 of the next 10 Stanley Cups as their seemingly bottomless pipeline of young talent matures year after year evolving into one if the greatest dynastys the game has ever seen. Or not.
  2. They've also played the second fewest games, but yeah UPL is running hot which is nice to see. They're also 5th in goals for %. Should be better than 10 wins 8 loses over that stretch.
  3. Your complaint is misdirected.
  4. I place 100% of the blame on the local fans lack of support.
  5. Good post. Adams plan is in motion. It's tough to be patient considering the past 13 years, but he's building the team the right way. This season has been a painful lesson for this young squad. After a red hot second half last season, some regression was expected... add in some key injuries plus a young over-confident roster.... and we end up here. Playoffs are never a guarantee, it requires a commitment and discipline both on and off the ice over the course of the entire season, not just in spurts. These kids are learning that lesson, but as fans of this franchise it's painful and frustrating after 13 years.
  6. They need stability. They're young and learning... you can't hit the reset button at this point. If they were an older cap team with veterans, then sure, lets start the rebuild... but that's not the case here. They spent the last 3-4 years drafting well, developing their core and a quality pipeline of young talent. Beware the fury of a patient man.
  7. If you remove the lense of "haven't made the playoffs in 12 years"... they're actually not far off from where they should be. They had a strong second half last season, over-achieved IMHO. A young over-confident group heading into 2023-24, mix in some key injuries and shaky goaltending early on, and the result really isn't that surprising. This humbling experience should give them renewed motivation heading into 2024-25.
  8. Still the youngest team in the league, have some patience. They're learning right now, trust the process. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
  9. Just win. If you want to salute or flip off the fans after the game I don't give a *****.... just. *****. win.
  10. Tuch sucks this year... underachiever. With his skill set, he should be a 30g scorer at worst.
  11. are there even any Czech players on the roster?
  12. There's one less than 2 miles away. I've lived here 17 years, haven't set foot in the place yet haha.... might have to try it now 🙂
  13. still is... massive wieners
  14. what's the injury tho?
  15. Similar to Bylsma, Cup win with the Pens, let go a few years later.
  16. Peters/Rivet? Duff/Biron? Krueger/Housley? Bylsma/Rolston? Hasek/Nolan? Miller/Ott? Dudley/Schoenfeld?
  17. So if a woman accuses somebody of something we should all just blindly accept their account as fact and the accused have no right to defend themselves? Yikes!
  18. FWIW, I 100% believe a woman complained about chripping. That's like the most plausible woman thing I can think of, other than one filing a lawsuit to really "teach them a lesson". Have you been around women? (I'm asking in jest, I'm sure you have) If I was trying to do something I enjoyed and a bunch of women kept complaining, I'd probably be driven to tears too. I aware of myself enough to know that. FWIW, I wouldn't have waited around after the game though, toxic women gonna toxic and there's nothing that's going to break through that feminist shell to the fragile little child inside.
