It's between Aviator and JD's for best wings in the area IMO, they are equidistant from where I'm at in HS. HS has Bass Lake draft house and My Way Tavern, but neither have great wings, just so-so. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings in town too of course, but I refuse to step foot in there. Aviator brews some very solid beers, but IMO Drafline brewery about a block north of Aviator is a notch above.

Aviator smokehouse I'm assuming? They have great bbq there in general, and like you say when you order hot wings, they are indeed hot. If you haven't been before, JD's Tavern in Apex does grilled wings that have some great kick when ordered hot.

Supposedly had the Kane deal and Tallinder return deal.

Pizza and wings. Fries are for chicken fingers and burgers.

Another thing I'm not a fan of at Duff's. Wings and fries do not a good combo make, mainly for sanitary reasons. Sharing some over sauced wings and fries with a buddy? Watch as he licks his meaty paws covered in sauce and then dives that same hand into the basket of fries he's sharing with you.

Yep, this is how I do wings all the time on either my weber kettle or big green egg. Indirect with some apple or cherry smoke wood until cooked, then I sauce them and put them back on the grill over direct high heat to crisp up the skin. I prefer to eat them "dry" with the sauce cooked in, but I have extra sauce ready to toss them in for those who want them sauced again. At Audubon North mentioned upthread they combine the best of both methods...fry in traditional manner until crispy, toss in sauce and finish on grill. Awesome.

IIRC correctly both the Sabres and Lindy came out fairly quickly and asked fans not to donate towards paying his fine. Maybe the Pats** have as well by now, but I've pretty much tuned out deflate gate at this point,

Yes it is, it's just a horrible way to present a properly cooked wing IMO. A good wing sauce should do it's work by simply coating the wing and not require an ocean of hyper vinegary sauce. That brings me to another wing joint pet peeve, one that many WNY establishments suffer from too. There should be a very discernible step up in heat when you go from mild to medium to hot wing sauces, IMO most places do a horrible job with this. Yes indeed! I forgot about the North, absolutely fantastic wings that they will finish on the grill upon request. Two big thumbs up.

The Gate, Bar Bill and Mammoser's Tavern in Hamburg are in my top 3. I'm not a big Duff's fan for two reasons. There is plenty of vinegar in Frank's sauce already, no need to add more. Duff's also tends to deliver your wings with way too much excess sauce almost like a wing soup.

Big ditch IPA at santoras on transit. Impressive.

They'll surely use this as motivation And therefore feel the need... to cheat... Again.

On a plane heading to Buffalo for the weekend. FN fantastic.

Abso-feckin-lutely to every last word.

Hills. How about Gold Circle or Twin Fair?

Definitely start doing that. You're probably overqualified for a lot of those positions.

Rotten to the feckin core.

Beer can chicken is good, but IMO a spatchcocked bird on the grill can't be beat.

I know most here were ready to bridge jump at the prospect of the Sabres being left with the choice of Strome/Marner/Hanifan, but those kids are indeed elite high ceiling prospects. The Canes will not be moving that pick.

Yes. Pass the semi, get right and let camaro pass. If you must get your road rage "revenge" then call in his plate as a suspect DUI, which in this case would have turned out to be correct.

like this makes my blood boil. Both drivers are douches of the highest order. As someone who knows how life can literally change in the blink of an eye as a result of another idiots choice to drive recklessly I'd love nothing more than to personally wring both of their necks.
