Ya I worry that you won’t get the old version of Provorov. I don’t think he is a bust, I guess I worded that wrong I think contract regret potential is higher with Provorov vs Gavrikov but again Jarmo traded for Provov so probably knows him too, if Jarmo thinks it’s good I’m okay with it

I’d prefer Gavrikov, Provorov to me has bust where I think Gavrikov will be good for many years

I think i wouldnt know how to react to be honest. Which probaby means its a fair deal. Like Edmonton trading Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson. Maybe for Peterka they would do that....and I would too to be honest. I know Foligno is older but when we traded him that was just a terrible day, I havent forgiven that deal ever. Rossi + Foligno for Peterka and Id even add if needed, there is your two forward additions, then all your efforts move to reshaping the back end

McBain's stat line - 82 13 14 27 with 78 PIMS and is a fighter and a hitter, he is 25 Macceli stat line - 55 8 10 18 with 8 pims and basically no hits, he is 24 So Mcbain is the better offensive player, the better defensive player, the better physical player, he is basically what we are missing. And that is why Utah likely wont trade him

Seems light for Zegras And thats more cap shipped out for Anaheim, they are gonna go big game hunting in free agency, you would have to expect

Macceli doesnt do it for for me, he is another undersized winger. If we are adding Byram or 9 its gotta be McBain coming back Id be willing to take Crouse back as he isnt quite the same player he once was for a lesser return. Maybe Peterka and Johnson or Rosen for Crouse and Kesserling

I just dont know enough about Zegras Rossi I know is good defensivley and does play physical and with some bite From what little I know, I think Zegras has none of those qualities, excellent offensivley but thats about it

The Utah and Rangers deals just make so much sense, Kesserling would be a huge add as would Schneider could you make it a bigger deal to get Cuylle too I don’t know Could Utah deal be expanded to get Crouse or McBain i don’t know for Tampa it’s likely Cirelli as he has a no move right now, Cernak would be amazing but he has a no trade

Hoping that maybe his connections could lead us to Gavrikov. He is one of the best defensive d men in the league and Jarmo was the GM and drafted him in Columbus Gavrikov - Dahlin would be best D pair in the nhl I think

If you could get him at 7 x 7 I’d be ecstatic, but truthfully I don’t think it’s too bad, it’s high. And it may sting you in the last few years, but it’s time we have some of those contracts you need him, and not only that the team and the nhl needs to see he wants to be here
