Yes and there was those rumors last year I think where there was all this smoke that we were close to getting Robertson before he eventually signed in Dallas, I doubt there interest would have lessened Adding Robertson would be a truly game changer move Still need to address the defense but it would be an elite add

Peterka for Robertson just makes so much sense, as they could then bridge Peterka saving money overall I wonder if a Quinn for Marchment kind of deal could be worked out as well? That would save them a ton of space too For us we would need to buy out Sammy, move Cliffton and Lafferty likely to do a move like that, but man would it be exciting

From another board: This morning on NHL Radio Scott Laughlin (morning show host) said he heard on a "reputable podcast" that Peterka for Necas is a real possibility. Anyone hear the podcast he's referring to? To me thats a trade that makes a lot of sense. If Peterka wants out of Buffalo its hard to find a better spot than riding shotgun with Mac. Meanwhile Buffalo wants another center and Necas wants to be a center Dont shoot the messenger! I could get behind this deal if there is more to it, Colorado needs to cut salary, so add Ross Colton or Josh Manson to this as well, I know they will want to add Miles Wood and becasue he is from Buffalo and played for Lindy I could see KA agreeing to take him

Ya Nashville has said they are okay being bad and taking a step back to get better in the long run unfortunatley there roster just isn’t good and most of the big name guys have no move clauses L’Heureux would be an amazing pick up! I’d probably want at least Lauzon as well for the back end, he led the nhl in hits multiple years, and then what about ROR he is the only vet that doesn’t have a no move and would balance cap slightly I would personally be totally fine with him coming back for that hybrid 2/3 center between him and Mcloed we still would have a gaping hole on the defense beside Power, because even if we did get Lauzon he is best as a 5/6

ya Kyrou would be a big get i know we are giving up the younger player but man Kyrou is a great player

Peterka for Crouse and Kesserling, I’d certainly do that type of move or that exact move Id even add to it if Utah thought they needed a bit more
