So id swap Ferraro for Liljigren, Ferrao is left handed and he and Dahlin would be perfect together, and he has a ton of bite to his game The Sammy deal is perfect, I can see NYI liking his size and the may feel they can ressurect his career, Power - Dobson would be an amazing pair, and this would be the "puck mover" type that Owen says he likes to play with. Still think you could add a vet Left handed dman to compete for the bottom pair that has some jam, someone like a Doumalin or someone like that, say a better Gilbert Then you sign Jeannot for the 4th line and think about moving Lafferty or keeping him as the 13th forward

Jason Robertson rumored to be on the trade block
ponokasabre replied to inkman's topic in The Aud Club
Especially if you are getting Robertson, that is like the Reinhart deal or the Eichel deal in reverse, I dont think either team would be upset over what they gave up to get the best player -
Ilya Samsonov is not resigning in Vegas, might be a good option behind UPL as a vet to push him for playing time
-
Eric Robinson extends in Carolina 4 years 1.7 per year I missed him, I felt he unfairly was scapegoated as one of the problems with the 4th line, id gladly take him back over Lafferty ffs

Which I think we all knew lol
-
Ya that will be a record lol just another dissapointing one for us, but I think it’s a real possibility

no trade had to play a role in this, we could have beaten that all day but he did had have a no move
-
Even EK thinks Sammy will get bought out: Buffalo Mattias Samuelson He’s become a very injury-prone defenseman for Buffalo, but the guy is also 6 feet 4 and is only 25 years old. That’s a really young age to give up on a defenseman, but the Sabres just can’t deal with the $4.2 million cap hit… it will be very interesting when he finds a new home. Look to Vancouver and Minnesota…. this is his latest blurb

Jason Robertson rumored to be on the trade block

Man I’ll admit I didn’t watch too many Dallas games but the ones I did Robertson looked good, and his shot is insane I would take this gamble all day everyday, at 10-11 per season that is so doable -
Chad D: expect a Byram trade at or around the draft

I just dont love Liljegren, Id have to have Ferraro and I know he is a lefty but he can play with Dahlin and then you can use Peterka or 9 for the Power partner -
Jason Robertson rumored to be on the trade block

I meant for the cap space, as adding Robertson and Dumba would be about 10 million in cap I think Cliffton and Dumba would actually probably be almost the same player so I think you only need one moving forward -

Marchment may not be getable with the no move, i get it But Robertson does not have that, this is the chance to add a 100 point player, you make this happen Take Dumba if you have to, to get this done, move Cliffton and Dumba can be the 7th dman this year -

Yes and there was those rumors last year I think where there was all this smoke that we were close to getting Robertson before he eventually signed in Dallas, I doubt there interest would have lessened Adding Robertson would be a truly game changer move Still need to address the defense but it would be an elite add -
Peterka for Robertson just makes so much sense, as they could then bridge Peterka saving money overall I wonder if a Quinn for Marchment kind of deal could be worked out as well? That would save them a ton of space too For us we would need to buy out Sammy, move Cliffton and Lafferty likely to do a move like that, but man would it be exciting

Matt Duschene resign in Dallas, 4 year 18 million total. They forsure need to cut cap somehow
-
Ryan Donato extends in Chicago, 4 years x 4 million per, 16 million total
-
This should get some people talking lol.
-
That would be sweet! But I just dont see it, after 2 years of Florida winning back to back cups, add in the last few years where size went early, I think you will see that trend again in this draft
-
EF just said on his 32 thoughts podcast that: Trent Fredric will be resigning long term with Edmonton at a low AAV, Bouchard will be resigning in Edmonton at a high AAV and the best news is he said there is absolutely no truth to the Tuch not wanting to re-sign rumors and that he will not be traded

Ya then its Bear all day for me, even with the injury I still think he is something we dont have in our pipeline. He would instantly top my favorite prospect in our system list.
-
One of Aecheson, Bear or Martin. In order of preference id go Martin, Bear, then Aicheson. But its got to be one of those 3

Chad D: expect a Byram trade at or around the draft
ponokasabre replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
Correct! If it was Byram for EP40, then deal, but I am not giving Byram and Norris for EP40, never in a million years, we actually got the much better player in the Cozens deal, I am not trading him for pennies on the dollar for a risky EP40. Byram for EP40, sure! -
This looks really good, id love to add another vet winger in there that is harder to play against but the center spine is very solid And then we can absorb a possible Norris injury if it happens lol
-
Its starting to feel like the Cozens and Mitts trades before, both of those, there was a ton of chatter before it happened, and in both cases KA said we arent actively shopping them, then boom traded, so its possible Just dont know who Tampa would offer? Id take Cernak all day but he has a no move, we could welcome back Hagel, he has no trade protection at all, Cirelli but he has a no move as well
