So true, every year when playoff hockey starts we are reminded of how exciting it is... intense physical and sometimes down right mean and nasty... then I listen to everyone wanting this team to make the playoffs... and think they would get swallowed up like guppies in playoff hockey... and the only ones not eaten would be the ones hiding under the bench... so much more is needed to be a competitive team in the post season... we are so devoid of that... its past how horrible Adams has gotten production and development from this group its also roster construction... Owen Power, Quinn, Peterka, Byram and Bryson would all look like Denis from Slapshot with PTSD in the locker room and anyone who actually resisted would end up looking like Dave "killer" Carlson... so much different required in this roster construction... with so many incompetents trying to do it... sorry, but I see this current roster as constructed maxing out at a 5 game first round playoff exit... IF the dream scenario played out next year... however realistically, not likely to even make them... but if we did we are likely gonna turn away from the beat down that will ensue...

Not unreasonable to Pegula he could care less about winning and even less about what we think... we are just the stupid little people he laughs at for still caring. There can literally be no other explanation for this level of incompetent depravity over and over and over again no one can possibly be that bad at what they do unless they are trying to.

Oh I dont know that they run deeper... if you think they run a country club that caters to its prima donnas and has zero accountablility... I think if people thought differently this is a great example... a part time consultant or a scout on the road I guess ok... an Assistant GM... maybe they should be at the games... like all of them unless there is a conflct... wonder if Face timing Lindy during games is next... just a big ol screen of him yelling at players to be in position while drinking a beer in his back yard... they do it with their scouting... can this be next...

Kevyn Adams is still GM... thus I would do nothing... I do not want him to reek any more destruction on this team than is absolutely necessary... I have zero faith that he will do anything but make the team worse with any move that he makes... but we all know that is not gonna happen.... he got the shovel... he gonna dig that hole..

I think the key here is.... Changes to the coaches that he inherited... the fact that they are all still here in the same positions that they were tells me what I need to know about the power of Ruff... either he has no power... or his power and vision is not going to move us forward... I suspect its the former...

Ok, i am gonna defend this... I do not believe that I am going to do that... but I am gonna look on the bright side... I dont think its a show stopper if you bring in a POHO/SA with an existing staff with the purpose of evaluation... I don't think a person like that would necessarily insist on cleaning house immediately without a proper evaluation... that cannot be done in a couple of months in the offseason... but if and this is a big if... IF he is given the authority to make sweeping changes etc... after an evaluation period then I have no problem with this... if this is just sticking another guy in the room to play good angel on KA's shoulder with no real authority then its lipstick on a pig with maybe a little dress and painted nails... This is disappointing... if true. Lipstick on a pig.
