Yeah officially moving into their last place spot in the division I see no reason that anything is different this year.... they dont make the playoffs and I think we are gonna see more players pull a Peterka. Dahlin, Tage Tuch possibly the return will likely be in picks and prospects because of nmc's and the suffering moves into the 9th ring of hell... then Pegula makes his internal moves Adams to POHO Keko to GM Appert to HC and we rebuild with the same incompetent morons and horrific coaching... jmo

I think this is a big piece of it... they pull Levi off of waivers, no one cares... They trade away a 50 goal scoring 2 time stanley cup player they still havent replaced for an AHL starter... shows the abject stupidity and incompetence pervading this cluster... but we have run this round and round... this is what you get... it would not surprise me at all to see Adams trade him and watch him blossom.... Like trade a blossoming star for a prospect... get the prospect and right before he becomes a blossoming start trade him for another prospect... rinse wash repeat Sabres. Just as an aside... Peterka and Cozens would be tied with each other for the lead in scoring on our team currently.

Oh you mean with regards to leaving... yeah, he is certainly not my prime source lol... but in the end I would not be surprised if Levi wasnt frustrated.. either way, maybe we over expected, but when we make the trade in 2021 I expected more return from him by 25/26... I think most did... so as for me I have this trade and Levi in the disappointment category hoping that changes soon and he is still with us and not traded away for another raw prospect that we will raise up and send away..

I dont know that I all together disagree.. I think where I am at is this kid gets here plays immediately and is pretty much relegated for years... he was a primary piece of a trade that sent a 50 goal scoring 2 time cup winning top 3 forward away in a trade cause he wouldnt or couldnt pay him... so to me if it is witchcraft, development, needs more time, misused, supporting cast... whatever the case or cases may be (and I think to your point it was a cavalcade of issues... this boils down to a disappointment... especially now that he wants out... and very potentially becomes another nice player the Sabres had that the sent away... time will tell.... so to me a very bad trade and an even worse situation... and Adams doesnt to me deserve the benefit of the doubt....

Division rival, team we are capable of beating, team we lost too last time around, 2 game losing streak (OTL) after a 4-0... I am very interested to see which Sabres team shows up.... the one with their hair on fire and a$$ catching or the one we saw at the beginning and end of last game... have a chance to stop the skid here... or potentially prolong it for several games.... with a bit of a difficult schedule ahead... pivitol type of game here.

I agree, he just signed a contract, play out this year see if he gets a break into the league if not move him... Bottom line... another poor Adams trade, what looks like poor development of the asset... or they have just misassessed him and he will go on to have a long productive NHL career like so many other ex Sabres... which one I have no idea... either way this whole Levi thing is a big disappointment.

Which is why when people start calling for trades I am like for the love of God no... do not let Adams touch our assets... lathering up in honey and running into a room of pissed off Wasps is more palatable than that.

This would not at all surprise me...

I think from my perspective define real... what we are seeing thru the first 10 games in terms of results is on the lowside of average for our first 10 game segments over the past 10 years... so to me the result is real... we are trending in terms of results to the lowside of our average pts over the past 10 years... meaning we are out of the running when the snow sticks "for real"... 2 consecutive blown leads and OT losses seems a lot like the real Sabres... I am not doom and glooming... but simply saying that I don't see a whole lot result wise that would lead me to believe that we have broken thru... I do like some grit from some of our players... Lyon and Doan are a bit of a revelation.... but as I mentioned in another post... some of our players look like they want out... and are done with going the entirety of their careers with no playoffs opportunity.... Season is early, time will tell... injured players will return... but in my opinion, I think we are seeing the real Sabres... the ones we have seen for the past 14 years + or - a little bit...

I would say this... I am neither expressing optimism nor doom... too early yet for that... I do feel a lot of optimism from folks but I am not seeing where or how... very Sabre like last 2... giving up a lead and losing in OT is a sure way to April tee times... this needs to change... I am concern there are some players already checking out... wanting out of here... this was my main concern as we ran back our FO and coach... and played "the beat goes on " in the locker room... Here is a look at our last 10 years of the 1st 10 game segment. 16/17: 4-4-2 17/18: 3-5-2 18/19: 6-4-0 19/20: 8-1-1 20/21: 4-4-2 21/22: 5-4-1 22/23: 7-3-0 23/24: 5-5-0 24/25: 4-5-1 25/26: 4-4-2 Looks like it falls into the lowside of average to me... Now I am not saying when we get injured players back and the team comes together etc... that it cant happen... but from my vantage point I am not seeing anything out of this group to suggest to me that we have broken free of our past and are ready to make a leap to the playoffs... on the contrary... it looks to me like Tage and Co can be comfortable making those April Tee Times.. Speaking of time... it will tell... but as of now color me nonplussed. Agreed, giving up 3rd period leads and losing in OT gets your golf game going.

Couple schools of thought... a tiger doesnt change his stripes... and he is really young lets see what happens when he plays with a complimentary defender... My thought.... I have said repeatedly the I am not against trading anyone as long as we get the best player in the trade.... So sure trade him if you are getting the best player in the deal... I think we all know that this is not happening... as we won't have stars with no trade clauses looking to come here... so its we get lesser pieces and picks... 2nd. Kevyn Adams is still GM and I dont want him trading anyone... so, I guess I am a no.

It would be wise to not send anyone down if he returns i think we are gonna count his return by period not game I am guessing max 4 that said i like the way Kozak plays

I am not gonna lie... watching him meltdown was freaking hysterical... Dahlin got his helmet fixed and Thompson got him off.. no harm or foul... but the getting knocked on as a$$ the return check when he was going after him and the epic meltdown was worth the price of admission... LOL

At this point I think him being a trade piece makes sense... he isnt your promise land goalie and so far you are getting comparable plus play our of Lyon... so roll with it... just can we please not have Adams make the trade... if we can avoid it LOL

Way early... but early returns are he doesnt suck... can he withstand the #1 rigors at this level of play... time will tell... but so far, signing of the year for the Sabres.
