  1. Tampa needs to make trades and they will, but definitely not with a team in same division. As with Tkachuk to Sabres - it's not going to happen. Sorry.
  2. Probably. There has not been any talk of the defensemen and upgrades what I have read of so you are probably right.
  3. Agree on that also. I understand moving on from Mitts but I would not have done it at trade deadline and not for a same type defender we already have. I have not changed my mind on trading Byram for a player that get a balanced roster. Or at least takes us a step closer to that.
  4. I think we will end up with Wennberg. In my dreams we trade for Lundell.
  5. If Seattle want to retool, and Adam Larsson would waive and be interested in signing for two more years at about the same 4m that he gets in Seattle, I think a trade with Jokiharju could work for both.
  6. Adams might give Krebs a last chance since we got a new coach. I think Adams works that way, he is willing to give more chances than other GMs. But it sure is the last for Krebs.
  7. If he stays healthy I absolutely think he will be close to Ekholm. But there is a big But.
  8. Two possible players for our 4th line are Grundström(Kings) and Mäenalanen (former Jets)
  9. I think he is a player that thinks team and teammates first. But I have not heard what his personality is like. When it comes to Europeans, except from the Swedes, their English speaking is usually not that good. This is something that especially is a problem for us Finns, and despite that we are a shy and silent people, not all, but many. That is things that matters when you draft a kid and hope for them to develop into stars. Long answer on a simple short question. But drafting and developing is a complex thing imo.
  10. Think he will be somewhere between Barkov and Kakko, closer to Kakko. And I would like to add that what I think we really need to draft now, with the prospects we already have, is heart and soul players. Unfortunately it is pretty hard to scout that when the players are 17-18 years old. So I vote for the safe pick.
  11. I do not see Helenius as a top 3, maybe top ten. Can be seen as a "safe pick" and thereby get drafted high. Stian Solberg is interesting, but ranked higher than I think he should be, played well tough against men for Norway.
  12. What is Sabrespace opinion of Amadio? A podcast I listen to liked him, could he be a Sabre?
  13. He signed his new contract on March 2nd. That might have something to do with it.
  14. Norwegians are usually hard to compete, it's in their blood.
  15. He is on top of my list too. I think he will ask for a five year contract with NMC. The big question is if we are willing to give him that and 6-7mil/year. If he is even interested in coming here.
  16. A. Work on faceoffs. Should mean improvments in both ends of the rink. If they bring in a center they should find one that can take the important faceoffs. B. Better and faster zone entries. C. Improve the play in front of/close to the net. Make it more aggressive.
  17. I think they want to resign Reinhard and keep Lundell, and a way to make that possible is trading Bennett. On the other hand, Tkachuk and Bennett are buddies and play extremely well together, especially playoff hockey.
  18. Someone like Jussi Ahokas, Kitchener Rangers
  19. This was an interesting question. After some more thinking I have a couple of suggestions: Nicolas Roy from Vegas. They are tight against the cap and Roy has signed for three more years att 3milj. Jesperi Kotkaniemi is the other. Signed long-term at a reasonable price. Can play the game with some grit. Has been a dissapointment in Canes and is a risk but we could definitely get him for #11.
  20. Yes, Laughton might be the best we could get. I think the first is worth much more than one year of Dowd or Bjugstad. If we would trade the 1st alone for one player I think a Rfa like Kakko could be possible, but he is not a center. But most likely it has to be as part of a bigger package.
  21. So after 3 years in Rochester he could be a upgraded version on Skinner?
  22. My mother in law still uses antenna. They are piece by piece shutting down the cabel net and changing to fiber cabel instead. But the antenna is still working and as you said it is free.
  23. Oh, that is interesting. Around here, on the countryside, some people still have the antenna, we had one also, so the problem with (not) watching a game in a not suitable weather is familiar. But, I have not heard of or seen one ever before. Maybe they did not make it to Scandinavia? What is the name of those?
  24. I have to admit that I don't. So please tell!
  25. Rather trade some of our prospects, all of them can't make it to a Sabres roster. But for a good player we need they can trade any pick it takes. Say we would trade down from 11th to 25-30. How much is the pick worth? What could we get then?
