The dude is 18...pretty sure he will gain strength thru at least 21 or 22, so I think you'd want to revisit this at that point. Time to get those squats and deadlifts going in the gym...

UPL has a 2.39 GAA and save percentage of .914 with 3 SOs in his last 20 games. That's tied for 9th best save percentage over those many games with Bobrovsky and 7th best GAA. Tied for 2nd in SO's with Tristan Jarry and Thatcher Demko. We wanted to see a consistent stretch of good hockey and we have gotten it. Sadly he is only 9-10-1 over that time since the Sabres can't score except sporadically. In comparison, Thatcher Demko has posted a .917 and 2.43 with 3 SOs as well and is 17-2-1. Remember when we said all we needed was better goaltending? Well, we got it and the results haven't changed much. He is turning into a real one tho...Levi might not be playing much anytime soon.

Seems a little disingenuous to term this "week to week" when Granato said he'll be out a week, maybe two. Week to week to me denotes something like 4-5 weeks.

UPL turning into a real one... -
I've been feeling very melancholy about this team lately.

Adams isn't the coach.

That 8-12 inches will probably shut them down for a few days hahahaha

We had Bylsma who won a Stanley Cup...does it really matter?

Another game with tons of chances and one goal. WTF is wrong with this team? -
Opinions Wanted: Controversy in a mens hockey league
Big Guava replied to Quint's topic in The Aud Club
It is...and there is a reason men's and women's sports are separated after the age of 11 or 12. People can believe whatever they want to believe. The real world doesn't care about that and neither does physics. I could "believe" that I could jump off a 10 story building or walk in front of a moving train and survive without any injuries. I would be dead wrong, literally, but I could believe it if I wanted to. Believing something that simply logically and scientifically isn't true is a sign of delusion, which is where a lot of these women's rights people come off. I'm not saying she shouldn't play, but she can always go play in a woman's league or a coed league. -

And? This is pretty mild. Actual professionals have dealt with far far worse. None of them cried to my knowledge. -
What Sabres team down through history have you liked less??

Then what is she crying about? If you can't physically take being checked then don't play. I played indoor soccer and flag football for quite a while. I cannot tell you the number of times I got slammed into the boards in soccer or tackled in football. Did I sit around crying about it? No... it's one of those things that is technically not supposed to happen but realistically you know it's going to happen just in the course of people competing. We're there some jackasses that went out of their way to do so? Yeah, of course. There are those idiots in every league. They are usually no skill goons who know being physical is the only way they can really contribute. If you can't accept that then don't play. It's simple. -

Women need to stop with this nonsense that they are "equal" physically to men. They aren't. It's not even debatable. Physically they cannot compete. Even Serena Williams, one of the greatest female tennis players ever said she would be lucky to be in the Top 500 if she played in the Men's tournament. Men are bigger, faster and stronger than women. They accelerate faster, they can jump higher, they are more athletic in terms of doing things at top speed. The multiple time Woman's World Cup winning USWNT has gotten crushed by high school under-14 boys teams. Could you imagine the Bills getting drubbed by a high school team? Even the worst NFL team would beat the best high school team like 80-0. If women want to continue this nonsensical crusade then they deserve whatever comes their way. Go start a league with women and play in it.
