The stupid 7 year contracts handed out like Halloween candy. Bridge deals be damned. Cozens, Muel after 50 games..Power after 1 year. .beyond stupid. Sabres 3rd highest in paying D-men and Byram needs a deal ? Does it ever end ? Non physical tin men everywhere. I guess they can work on upgrading the arena even during games, with all the empty seats. Change or vanish.

Mets, Knicks and Jets won it all. Heck of a year for NYC. Trottier totaled 100 goals in his last 2 years with the Bisons. Loved him.

Agreed but that trade and the Cozens deal were not the big trades many locals made it out to be. Byram was up and down but Mitts was traded again after being extended and was a -29 on the year. Cozens was addition by subtraction with his bad D and horrid contract and Sabres received a injury prone forward with an even fatter contract in return. Now Quinn and massively overpaid Muel look like obvious trade candidates who may not return much. Maybe Power, who still looks like a rep guy over actual level of talent. What to do ? Watch and hope.

Quinn (-18) and Muel should be moved . Hopefully.

Right now, they like Bernard-Docker to pair with Power but will try to add a right handed D-men. Good luck with that.

As I posted in Fantastic Fridays, I sat right in front of the Spin Doctors last night at the Falls Casino. They were awesome.

Just saw the Spin Doctors at the Seneca Casino in the Falls. Outstanding show. First saw them 34 years ago. Sound was perfect.
