Forwards, defense, goaltending, scheme? Once again, I didn’t watch many games this year, so I don’t know much except they were near the bottom of the league in PK.

Well…since I have never experienced it in my 55 years of following the Bills and Sabres, I guess I will have to reserve judgment on my post championship reactions.

So which portion of the fanbase would be unhappy if they won a Cup after 55 years, and then didn’t win another within 2-3 years?

Okay…maybe I was a little over the top with my expectations for the PC’s. That being said, I really hope KA is willing to pull the trigger on deals to bring in a top 4 dman, bottom 6 difference makers(replacements for KO and Girgs), and a goalie to be a 1A/1B to Levi. You just can’t fall in love with every prospect drafted, and hold on to them for dear life.

It is not a given that just because they are a year older, that the team will be better. Who knows? How many Sabres overachieved this year? What I want? More than swapping KO, Girgs and Anderson for Kulich, Savoie and Levi. The blueline? Aim higher than Clague, Bryson and Stillman. Goaltending? He has had 3 years to fix it, and I have a feeling they are putting all their eggs in the Levi basket. Ask Philly how their young savior Carter Hart has led them to the promised land

What is the process? If the answer is keep building from within without any significant veterans brought in via FA, or trade, the build may result in playoffs next year, or could be multiple years away. I guess I have already spoke with my wallet when I gave up being a STH 3 years ago, but the mass exodus of STH over the last 5 years or so, did not seem to have any positive impact in terms of on ice performance.

Who asked for a show? Making a statement that 12 years of this ***** is unacceptable is a show…or am I not being a super fan by stating this?

Maybe by saying it, it makes them more accountable versus…”we tried hard, maybe next year”.

Ummm…maybe because they have missed the playoffs 12 years in a row in a league where 1/2 of the teams make it, and that it is flat out unacceptable for this to go on any longer.

I expect DG and KA to say…playoffs are the goal and missing them will be unacceptable, no excuses!

For those in favor of bringing back KO, Girgs, and even Jost next season…what do there 22-23 fancy stats look like?

I want to make the playoffs…not waste a roster spot on an over the hill vet…just to say “look how good we treated KO”.

Sorry, but if Stillman is part of the top 6 next season, the blue line has not been fixed. I will go one step further. I don’t want Clague, Bryson or Stillman as my #7. 8 or 9 on the depth chart…fine, but these are not the guys who are one injury away from being in the lineup.

…and a 1a/1b goalie. 😉

I spent so little time on my bracket, that except for having the Canes winning it all, I have no idea who I picked in any of the other series. 😂

I vote that you work on your capitalization skills before posting again. My OCD is raging right now.

This team can’t be all “draft prospects build from within”. Now that the playoffs are a firm goal for 23-24, the changes can’t be… Out…KO, Girgs & Anderson In…Savoie, Kulich & Levi All that accomplishes is making a young team even younger. That being said, I am turning the page on both KO and Girgs no matter what the salary. Swap vets for vets…not vets for youth.

Bringing in some combination of Levi, UPL & Comrie to training camp will be a big mistake by KA. He has screwed up the goaltending position for 3 seasons, and cannot screw it up again in 23-24. A bonafide starter is needed for the fall.
