As long as Dahlin is a Sabre, Power will never be able to maximize his earning potential mainly because Power will never be part of PP1 unless they go to a PP1 group with both of them on the point. Sucks for Power, good for everyone else.

I have to admit my draft summary made me chuckle… Labatt Blue's Draft: A C- Performance that Will Leave Them Feeling Blue In the SabreSpace Royal league, Labatt Blue had the unfortunate luck of drawing the 12th draft order. With 15 rounds to work with, they managed to put together a team that earned them a less-than-stellar C- draft grade. While they did make a solid pick with Deshaun Watson at 108, beating his ADP of 93, they stumbled with their selection of Chris Godwin at 61, who had an ADP of 76. It seems Labatt Blue may have had a few too many of their namesake beverages before making that decision. Labatt Blue's projected finish of 7th in the league isn't exactly inspiring. With a projected record of 7-8-0 and 1906.66 points, they'll have their work cut out for them. To make matters worse, they'll be facing the 7th toughest schedule out of the 12 teams. On top of that, Labatt Blue will have to navigate through a bye week 5 with 4 players on the sidelines. Looks like they'll need a little more than a cold beer to drown their sorrows this season.

If push came to shove, I would take the Sabres and would not look back. That being said, I have loved both teams for over 50 years.

Anyone know how many teams have individual goal songs for the players instead of the same song played after every goal? Have I mentioned how the chorus of this song, would be ideal for all goals scored by the good guys? 😈

I think numbers for all players have to be tempered knowing that there will probably be more of a focus on defense. I would not be surprised to see a drop in numbers from 22-23 for TT, Skinner & Tuch.

I am 6’1” and I also struggle in the lower bowl. This is why if they would have made more of a slope in the lower bowl, your knees would be above the back of the seat in front of you. Of course the other option is when they redo the seating, eliminate a few rows in the lower bowl providing for more leg room.

Back when I was a STH, I know they used to project the American and Canadian flags during the respective anthems.

This makes me very sad, as I consider Perreault to be my all-time favorite Sabre. 😞 [edited]Even if it means Gilbert is put on the PSE payroll, I would do whatever it takes to keep him happy. He was the franchises first star, and deserves to be a happy alumni, and insure that he is in attendance for all important Sabre events, or if nothing else, just here in town a couple times a year for a home game.

At some point this “we only want players who want to be here” and “nice guy GM treats players right” should stop. Not every player is on a team that is their #1 choice. Don’t like it? Tough…suck it up buttercup.
