This is actually his 4th chance(summer/offseason) to fix the goaltending position, and doesn’t seem to interested in doing so.

I am “excited” to see if his potential poor goaltending strategy, once again, will land him on the hot seat. [edited] Interesting that in that quote, Comrie is not mentioned.

I would put some feelers out to see if there is any interest in trading a mid to late round pick for him…especially if you think he would not make it through waivers. I’m guessing at his salary level, no one is claiming him.

The Sabres really need another vet in the forward ranks. With Quinn out until who knows when, and VO probably on the way out, 12-13-14 spots are kind of iffy.

Stats to back that up? PS He was also a key part of one of the worst PK units in the league.

A better goalie will take care of the problem even more.

I am glad Orlov signed with the Canes instead of Boston or Washington…two teams the Sabres may be fighting for a playoff spot.

I really like this signing. He was one of the players I was hoping for in FA. Should be a solid partner in the Top 4 for Power.

Hopefully…an upgrade from Comrie and UPL is brought in via trade of FA, and both of the incumbents are sent packing via trade. Realistically…Adams goes with Levi/UPL/Comrie for 23-24.

What about when the team is behind by one, and desperately needs a faceoff win…or winning a faceoff and clearing the puck on the PK? Not overrated at all IMO.

Trade Joker, Stillman is #7, and Bryson replaces Pilut in Rochester.

Joker seems to be the guy with the most value if looking for a goalie via trade…or a bottom 6 vet forward.

I would have loved a guy like McCleod. Instead we get Jost. 👎🏻

Anything that moves Bryson further down the depth chart is okay in my book.
