  1. btw I wouldn't count on Eichel next year. Reports say he wanted out last summer. https://www.foreverblueshirts.com/anonymous-nhl-executive-tells-the-athletic-jack-eichel-is-going-to-end-up-on-new-york-rangers/?__twitter_impression=true
  2. I'm afraid to make any kind of trade with our management in shambles.
  3. The Pegulas should get out of the hockey business. They're a total embarrassment.
  4. Boy the Pegulas sure make huge expensive long-term mistakes, don't they?
  5. Skinner's got to waive that NMC. He must hate it in Buffalo and its poor teams. The fans are all over him. Money isn't everything. He's got to be very unhappy in Buffalo.
  6. Someone please knock Taylor Hall's teeth out.
  7. My money is on the Vegas Golden Knights to win the 2021 Stanley Cup. It's a matter of goaltending. Fleury is 22-10 / 2.08 and Lehner is 12-1 / 2.04. The Knights have scored 165 while giving up a mere 105 goals all year long. Compare that to the Sabres goal output, goaltending and goal differential and you'll understand why I posted the photo below.
  8. I don't have anything interesting or exciting to add except I'm still sick of losing. Is Buffalo ever going to be a great team again?
  9. Taylor Hall has dazzled since he moved over to the Bruins. He scored a beauty last night. Hall has scored 4x and added 3 assists in 9 games with the Bruins, which is twice as much as he scored in Buffalo. Hall is a gutless mercenary. I can't stand him! What a lousy pickup. But again, it's on our front office. https://www.audacy.com/weei/sports/bruins/taylor-hall-dazzles-in-bruins-bounce-back-win-over-penguins
  10. Healthy Jack is key. Seems like coming back from this latest injury will be key. Maybe Jack will produce better on a better team but seems like he's injury prone. Marner has been more durable and is a great point producer, no matter who he plays with. He has a great brain for hockey. He passes beautifully and his teammates to a man love him. Plus he doesn't pout. Yes pizza vs. tacos is a very interesting discussion. But it depends where you get them from. My Buffalo favorite was Leonardi's...who are now gone. I didn't have a favorite taco destination so I suppose I like pizza better.
  11. Just hang out, I'll think of some more. Seriously, is there any argument here? What is your argument, besides insulting me?
  12. Mitch Marner > Jack Eichel
  13. 3-4 years/$6 million. I don't think he wants to stay though. Just a feeling.
  14. Can Buffalo possibly draft 15 year old Connor Bedard?
  15. Sam Bennett with two more tonight. Bennett will help the Panthers go far this year; they might win it all.
  16. It's interesting that these last ten games have gone so well. Without Krueger, Staal, Hutton, Montour, Hall and Eichel. Maybe all those guys are a drag on the team, despite the skill.
  17. Not to worry, the big guy has it all under control.
  18. It wasn't Krueger's fault that he was a silver-tongued devil, he interviewed well and demanded a three year 3.7 million contract even though he only had twenty games of experience as an NHL coach. It wasn't his fault at all. No, it was all the Pegulas' fault. Funny enough, Krueger's story mirrors the influence that Rasputin had over the Romanovs. https://oldspirituals.com/2015/04/12/rasputin-influence-romanovs/
  19. I dont want to wish Taylor Hall hard feelings but...he tried to hurt us while promoting himself on the way out. He slickered our rookie GM and our rube owner.
  20. So predictable that the Sabres let one in to tie the game in the last :30 of the period.
  21. I wish Jack all the best and that he gets all the support he needs to get to a good place so he can play well again. I'm very concerned about neck injuries in general though and also about Jack's mental state with the setback and all the losing.
  22. I'm angry that Taylor Hall wielded more power in shaping this transaction than the Buffalo Sabres management, who again got outwitted, this time by their own player. First, Hall fixed it so that he can only get traded to his top team. Second, he played poorly for the Sabres, driving down his price in the deal. He had Rasputin run interference for him. Looking at his long injury history, that may have factored in the low price too. Bottom line, I think Hall is a mercenery and I have no respect for him.
  23. Sure, design the team to be fast and uptempo or design the team to be big and heavy. But what the Sabres don't need are more cowardly players who don't stick up for each other. Get strong character players with courage and things will work out.
