  1. FOUND: Jack Eichel Civil War picture. Same petulant expression, hair, and the body. If Eichel could actually grow a beard, I could see him with this muttonchops style....
  2. They're arrogant rubes with money. They're capable of massive unending stupidity.
  3. I haven't been in WNY since 2005 but Leonardi's was always my very very favorite. Unfortunately they closed after fifty years prompting this video; https://www.facebook.com/news4buffalo/videos/bruce-s-warrick-is-completely-heartbroken-that-leonardis-pizzeria-in-amherst-has/1231664850377288/ Is anyone taking their recipe and running with it? I heard Bailey Ave. Pizza North tried but couldn't do it. Now they're closed too.
  4. Coming to the realization that Eichel is a "no I in teamwork" type of guy and Skinner is clueless. Wouldn't it be liberating to get rid of these two all in one swoop? Okposo too!
  5. I've been thinking about making a statement to the Pegulas, but need some help from some Sabre fan/investors. For a mere $3,650, we can all pool our money together and hire a plane with a banner (something that might read: SELL THE TEAM) to buzz Pegula HQ in Buffalo. A great photo opportunity for both Buffalo and national media! The $3,650 includes: •Flight – We guarantee 3-4 loops(10-15 minutes) of onsite coverage over the location. We find that this is the perfect amount of time to take photos and really soak it all in. •Banner – For this flight, we would use what is called a “letter banner” which is exactly what it sounds like – A massive banner with huge block letters that can be easily seen from the ground. You can customize the message up to 35 characters. •Cost – The total cost for the flight plus the banner comes out to $3,650. I think this would rock the Pegulas' world...Get in touch with me if you want to be part of this.
  6. Now that some underachieving teams like the Rangers, Coyotes, Blue Jackets etc. have fired their coaches, I'm afraid the Sabres are going to miss out on some teriffic experienced coaches like Boudreau and Gallant. The Rangers are already talking about Gallant. Buffalo's dumb management either pulls the trigger too fast or not at all.
  7. I think Jack's "surgery" excuse is a crock. I don't think many teams would gamble with that sort of surgery on a "top star." With his end of season diatribe, Eichel put himself on a pedestal and wanted to screw the team. Get out by any means possible, Eff the truth. Jack's too good for us pleebs. I figured it was just a matter of time. Looking at his body of work, not only his point-a-game scoring, but all the time he was pouting on and off the ice, the stick smashing, all those faces, the body language, it was so obvious that he hated the Sabres organization. He might be a darn good player but now he's damaged goods, he has a bad attitude and he's still very immature. No real captain would throw his organization under the bus like he did. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
  8. To me, it all depends on how this so-called surgery shakes out. It's entirely possible that if Eichel goes his own way, he might ruin his neck. I've never seen a neck disk injury in a hockey player before.
  9. There's an interesting take on what went down with Eichel by Michael Clifford on the dobberhockey.com site. https://dobberhockey.com/2021/05/11/ramblings-sabres-and-rangers-end-the-season-letang-and-ty-smith-may-11/
  10. I was reading Ranger fans talking about Eichel and to a man, they don't want him. They call him an expensive, injury-prone crybaby. It occurs to me after all this, maybe nobody wants Eichel?
  11. Anyone see Greta Thunberg's message to the Pegulas?
  12. Cozens, Mitts are ok for #1s, They're developing and I hoping for the best. Asplund I like and hope they give him a chance. A stroke of luck by TM with Olofsson as a 6th or 7th? Samuelsson, I hope for good things. Dahlin...I've seen some great things from him and not so great too. Jury's out. No total busts, just nobody and I mean nobody who sets the world on fire in one way or another. I think at least at this point, that's what we need.
  13. I'd fire KA. I don't care when he was hired...he's a weasel. So is Eichel, for making up this song and dance about the disagreement about the operation...it was really just his awkward, passive-aggressive way of orchestrating himself out of town. Blame the organization and make them look like the bad guys. Management should've sat down with Eichel quietly and asked if he wanted to stay or go. If he said he wanted to go, they should have given him a dignified exit and traded him. But they blew it up into this ugly thing because basically management are weasels. Now Buffalo is up for league-wide ridicule again. But Kim will hire another dud and the s***show will continue because she's incompetent, calculating, self-absorbed, conniving, manipulative, unethical, negative and a bad manager. The organization reflects the top manager. The problem here isn't Eichel, it's the Pegulas. And specifically Kim Pegula. Jack just didn't want to play in Buffalo anymore and she wouldn't accomodate him. If he doesn't want to play, he's not going to play, let him go with dignity. Terry please find something else for your trophy wife/handler to do.
  14. Some people do, some people don't.
  15. I don't take Eichel's word for gospel either. He's such a spoiled, arrogant kid, I think he actually believes that how he frames the situation is the whole truth. It's an opinion and hockey's such a rough sport, a botched operation might endanger him for life. The Pegulas, as stupid as they are, are only trying to protect their assets.
  16. It just occurred to me...Eichel might be completely ruined because of his neck.
  17. With all of Eichel's injuries, and there has been a number of them, I look at his build, which is tall and lanky, and I wonder if this man was built for hockey. It would seem, and I don't want to jinx him, that he's due for more. The neck, the groin, the ankle, the ribs...when is it going to stop? I'm starting to think that Eichel is injury prone and that a team just can't count on him. And the neck injury was a coup de grace; I wonder if he'll ever truly get over it. Because in the NHL, you need to have your head on a swivel or you're toast. Just don't get any more bandaid boys in return for Eichel.
  18. Not the same impact. I see a plane with a banner and that clip going viral.
  19. Get Zadorov to take care of Eichel.
