The guy is 24. He played for Michigan in 2016 and 2017 went to Georgetown Jr A for a year then transferred to Minnesota the past 3 years. Why was he still in college?

At what point in the draft are you looking at these guys? If Sabres are drafting 3-6 are you taking these guys over the forwards in that range?

Power didn’t record a point this weekend as Michigan swept UMass but he was very good. His stick use to break up plays and hand-eye coordination are very underrated. I have never seen him pressured into rushing a play and making a wrong decision with the puck. So calm and smooth.

Ritchie is a prime example of a player drafted high because he was built like a man in juniors. Watching him play for the Leafs has been painful. He can’t even ride Matthews, Marner’s or Tavares coattails. I’d rather keep Hayden, at least he gives a bleep and competes.

Michigan must be loving the idea of losing Power, Johnson, Beniers (maybe Luke Hughes) to the Olympics. Maybe Sweden will take Portillo just to twist the knife.😁
