Tuch was always stuck behind the big guns in Vegas. A motivated Tuch leading his hometown team with top line minutes and big PP time should be exciting to watch.

This isn’t football, you can’t rework deals. The cap hit is $6 million but the actual money owed is l think $1.2 million and part is covered by insurance so Buffalo is only paying like $500,000. This gives the leeway. Say a team called and wanted Colin Miller and offer a prospect or pick the Sabres liked. Miller makes about $3.3 million I believe. Before they would have to take on money or find it somewhere to stay above the floor and be compliant. Now they could move Miller and not worry about the cap floor. It gives them more flexibility to make deals.

Average skater? Yikes Pronman

Could you imagine if Vegas announced they don’t approve of ADR?🤣

What a breath of fresh air to hear that from this team. And please Peterka Krebs Quinn!!!

I didn’t mean Jack individually, I meant there were characters issues in that room that he identified and he has made moves to change the culture. Overall talent and coaching has always been the problem and I am hoping that they have figured that out with Granato and all the young pieces and picks coming into the lineup.

Nobody needs to dump on Eichel. He was a world class talent but it didn’t work here. A lot of it was out of his control but I think behind closed doors he had a hand in this mess too. Let him move on. The NHL is a better place with a healthy Eichel playing. I like the return and I like the way this team is being built.

I would do: Peterka Mitts Quinn Tuch Krebs Cozens Asplund Thompson Olofsson Skinner Girgs Okposo

A lot of long term possibilities. I like the idea of pairs: Mitts-Tuch Asplund-Olofsson Krebs-Cozens Girgs-Okposo Quinn-Peterka

I will give Adams credit. The guy was hired with no experience and given an absolutely brutal situation to navigate and I think he has come out the other side of the heavy lifting pretty well. He identified the character issues in the dressing room, sold the Pegulas on a tear down and has done it right. He didn’t think he knew better then everyone else and has surrounded himself with people in the front office who are well thought of. He is acquiring multiple picks/young pieces and there seems to be an identity forming:speed and character. There is a long way to go but this is what a proper rebuild looks like.

Krebs is good buddies with Cozens. They have played a lot together for Canada. He also played with Levi and Quinn on Team Canada last year. One story I like about Krebs is that he played for an awful Kooteny Ice team a couple years ago. He was basically all the skill they had. They said he never complained once, just showed up and worked his butt off every game. He lead the team in scoring by a ton and was still -50 but never let his frustration show. I have no doubt he will embrace Buffalo. His style fits in perfectly with Granato’s. Tuch is from Syracuse, I doubt he will be bummed about Buffalo.

Krebs is a high character kid. Always wearing a letter, usually the captaincy. High end wheels and extremely high smarts/ hockey sense. If he reaches his potential I would say a fast skating Sam Reinhart.

https://vegashockeynow.com/2021/11/03/nhl-trade-jack-eichel-vegas-golden-knights-calgary-flames-offer/ interesting takeaway is someone from Eichel’a camp says Jack believes he I’ll be dealt by Monday at the latest. So there is your new QAnon deAdeline.😜

Friedman denying anything doesn’t hold much weight. Guy has been a dumpster fire in regards to this trade saga.

Kevin Weekes is legit. He isn’t putting it out without great sourcing.

Bombshell. His wording is a little weird here. A former 1st round pick, 2 prospects, a future 1st. Is the former 1st different then the 2 prospects?
