My thoughts: 1) with Eichelās injury and this surgery it makes things very murky. It will not lead to full value in return into it is sorted out and he is deemed healthy. 2) the ONLY way you move Eichel to the East is if the offer BLOWS you away, meaning beyond what even the fans dream offers include. 3) there are teams in the West that make much more sense. L.A. And Anaheim as people have mentioned. 4) if he is indeed done in Buffalo then donāt rush this. Make sure he is healthy and maximize return. DO NOT settle for best offer if it is not up to snuff. 5) if L.A. Is interested, see about a package to maximize return: Eichel+ Risto and take Quickās contract for a haul of Byfield, Turcotte, Thomas, multiple 1sts.

US Men's National Team Roster: 2021 World Cup May 21-June 6

Iām not a fan of Guenther, simple as that. I donāt see this 90-100 point difference maker you keep pimping. I see a passenger on a line, a guy that needs someone else drive the play and get him the puck. Not a guy I want to spend a top pick on. -

Real talk, Guenther was no great shakes last year either. He was good, not great. You are taking one 12 game stretch in a very disjointed WHL season to make your basis of a 100 point winger. I donāt see it. He was outplayed at the U18 by guys ranked much lower then him. He should have stepped forward and dominated but instead he was a passenger. Nothing in Guenther screams top pick to me. And why do you keep making this MacKinnon comparison? MacKinnon played in the U20 in his draft year, not the U18. Guenther was 7th or 8th leading scorer on his own team while playing top line minutes and top PP time. If anyone watched the games they knew MacKinnon was the better player than Drouin. Especially during the Memorial Cup run. -

I know he does but: 1) Guenther hasnāt looked that good. His U18 was an eye opener. 2) You can cheer for your guy without baselessly knocking another prospect. -
What is a top 20 centre in peopleās minds? Is it a guy who puts up 80 points? Tavares puts up points but I would much rather have Reinhart and everything he does, especially in a playoff series (cue Colts āPlayoffs?ā Video) The Drury comparison is pretty solid. Not a top offensive centre but a super important one for team success.

Either you are pushing a narrative or you just arenāt very good at evaluating talent. Just as long as we donāt draft Edvinsson or Guenther I will be good. -

He has been added to the team. Eklund, Power and Beniers will be there for their countries. Should be interesting to watch. -

Power, Clarke, Beniers would make me happy. Eklund and Hughes would be āI guessā Edvinsson and Guenther would be āF$&k My Lifeā

So then Eichel sits out the year citing his neck. Once his NTC kicks in, he demands he is only going to Boston. Hall return 2.0. Reinhart phones it in for a year and leaves as a UFA next off-season. Sounds great.

https://youtu.be/jsaTElBljOE Back when everyone was talking about which vet coach to hire I said wait until the season ends because I thought this scenario could play out. Sabres players jumping of the team like rats off a sinking ship. Rebuild 2.0 incoming. Might as well keep Granato as he has the kids engaged.

Reinhart Non Committal To His Future in Buffalo
Flashsabre replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Because what they have been doing has worked so well. If the players donāt want to be here what is your answer? Keep Risto and his awful game here to drag down the defence. Keep Reino for one year because he wonāt sign and let him walk as a UFA for nothing. Let Eichel sulk and demand a trade when his No trade kicks in and get royally screwed. Please tell us more. -
Reinhart Non Committal To His Future in Buffalo
Flashsabre replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
BLOW IT UP. All Eichel Reinhart and Risto know here is losing, not coming close to sniffing the playoffs. I really canāt blame them. The amount of coaches and front office mistakes they have been through with nothing to show for it and no light at the end of the tunnel. Absolutely nothing points to this team being a playoff team again. It absolutely sucks but these guys are done with being here in a losing environment. Tear it down to the studs. Make SMART trades and gain as many high end assets as you can that fit the way you want this team built. Hope you hit on Wright or Bedard. -
Maybe he hasnāt followed the team at all and states that he canāt wait to get back to Kruegerās system and playing on a line with Hall next season.š

I wonder if players like Beniers and Power will get a look at the World Championships? They havenāt played in so long and all looks are crucial this season. Eklund will play for Sweden. I canāt see a ton of NHL guys being enthralled with the idea of going to the Worlds this season with the pandemic so maybe some kids get a chance to step in.
