Something tells me we have not heard the last of the Elias Pettersson to Buffalo rumors leading up to July 1st when his NMC kicks in.. EP40+Demko for Norris+UPL? Norris is one of Quinn Hughes best friends and Vancouver would want a centre back. Add in Byram and Hronek and make it a good old fashioned crazy blockbuster to shake things up. A Jarmo influenced deal😝 I don’t think it will happen but I do think we will here EP40 linked to Buffalo again as the July 1st deadline nears.

Dreger says Marner is gone and there is mutual interest with Vegas. That means a lot of salary out the door for the Knights. Go make a deal with them. Karlsson, Roy, Hague Whitecloud are all possibilities

I think he’s a good player he just always seems injured. If he can stay healthy great but IDK. If they could acquire Rossi with other pieces and go: Norris Rossi McLeod Krebs down the middle that is not bad at all.

And lineup Benson-Rossi to take the opening face off of next season.😛. Minny want a bigger centre. I would offer broken Norris for him in a heartbeat. I have no faith Norris plays regularly next season.

Honest question. Every piece of news we get is another slap in the face. What is the next piece of “good news” about the Sabres we get that gets us excited?

I get a very strong feeling that next year will be worse than this season and extensions will be given out. Then all the players will jump ship.

I do because I think Shanahan is good. He built a strong organization in Toronto. The players just never pushed through but they were always set up to win. Shanahan would be a giant signal from Terry that he is ready to get serious. For Shanahan to agree to come it would mean the hierarchy would be changing in Buffalo. It would bring credibility to the franchise.

There was no plausible argument that justified KA being hired in the first place.

With Strabek, Kleber and Komarov already in the pipeline I wouldn’t like the pick. Give me a Martin, Bear ,McQueen or O’Brien, something we don’t have in the pipeline.

My only hope at this point is they are waiting to bring Dudley in and he is going to be bad cop and 💩can everyone. Ofcourse none of that is happening but it’s the only hope I have left.

I have Zero percent faith that this organization as constructed head to toe will find any success moving forward. Why Pegula has trust in this group is beyond me. They desperately need an outside, seasoned voices in positions of power.

LOL the Sabres resemble nothing of Carolina. Carolina have no depth Offence but get by on structure and defence. Sabres can score but have no defensive structure. If Adams was trying to build into Carolina he is even more incompetent then we think

Harrington advocating for Shanahan. why go get a Shanahan or Dudley when you can keep the entire group that has failed here for years. Why succeed when you can fail but be heard. Just watched the CBC’s documentary on Harold Ballard and the way he destroyed the Leafs franchise in the 70s and 80s. I can see a Pegula one in the future. He’s not as abrasive or as mean as Ballard but there are parallels to the damage they did to their teams.
