I've only ever been to college hockey in person. Is there tailgating or something of the sort for NHL games?

Then you could argue context is missing and the comment is finger-pointing to save face at best. "It only took 7 years and me leaving" is actually "I didn't win any games that were significant enough for people to cheer loudly for us." That doesn't mean it was a good comment, it's merely sad if true.

Depends on what you let your kids see. There are a few creepy scenes where the antagonist is shown nude from the side or behind which I think are a little too much for kids just based on the creep factor. In regards to the violence, this isn't like marvel superhero violence where the "bad guys" get punched, fly 30 feet through the air and land bloodlessly "knocked out." Blood flies around and there are a few instances of minor gore.

I can settle this amicably for all parties. Send me the jersey and we'll call it even!

Tanking is losing intentionally. This is not a tank. The team has prioritized letting youth develop and knows they don't have good goalies. As such, they are ok with losing, but are not actively pursuing it.

Thanks, I read the last few pages but didn't go through the entire thread. Seems a but hypocritical on his end to want to ramrod through a treatment but only at the risk of the club. If he were truly convinced this is the best course of action he should have assumed the risk and he'd be gone already.

What would really happen if Eichel just went ahead and got the surgery he wanted? Worst case scenario the Sabres void his contract, which would leave him free to sign with another team? They could fine and suspend him without pay according to the CBA, but they would still need to trade him eventually. I don't see why he doesn't just do what he wants if he's so upset about it? You'd think someone with an ego like his would be willing to bet on himself.

Coverage is terrible. It's the 2nd rd not a late round, why are we not getting reaction on picks and instead getting interviews with players only fans of that team will care about?

Lol, looks like it. I moved out of the country and only had enough energy and willingness to accept punishment in me to follow the Bills from abroad. I decided I missed Hockey and have been trying to read up to get a decent idea of who is who in the league now but it's a bit daunting. It does seem like I picked a decent time to take off though, we seem to be not great from all accounts.
