Figured I'd start a thread for traveling or displaced fans to organize and meet up with one another at road games. Anyone going to the game on LI a week from Saturday? I still remember the game last year where the first thing every single adult Sabres fan did after entering the building was make a beeline straight to the beer vender selling tallboys. I told my Isles ticket rep they should've sent Housley a check as a thanks for all the beer he was responsible for selling that night.

Ran into this guy at the Devils game last night:

My best friend who has been going to games for decades was at the rags-Devils game on Saturday and said he has never seen an NHL team in person that looked worse than the Devils. This one is an absolute must win, and really the outcome shouldn't even be in doubt going into the 3rd.

And I can FINALLY post this: And beating the LOLJETS makes it even better. That guy living on the roof of his house until the Bengals finally won a game can finally come down!

And of course Captain Liar got the winner. Whatever, the Leafs still suck and he's going to get Bryce Harper'ed in June. Great last two games, just wish we hadn't pissed away 3 points vs the Wild and Shames.

They weren't tanking for Sam, they were essentially preparing for the draft the following year. Unfortunately the corrupt and disgusting league went and changed the draft process specifically to punish our team.

There was once a guy as good as just about anyone on your prior list named Chris Pronger. As a Whalers fan I'm very familiar with him. In his first few seasons he was HORRIBLE, like Matt Tennyson level bad. On those awful Whalers teams his awfulness stood out. He ended up a no brainer first ballot HOF'er, a cup winner and a key guy on 2 other teams that made the final (and carrying an Edmonton team to a game 7 they win if Rolo doesn't get hurt). So yeah, the idea that Dahlin is the next Tyler Myers is batshit crazy.

Terry Pegula makes freaking Charles Wang look like Mike Illitch in comparison. And if anyone is going to try with the "Terry saved the team" narrative (which isn't true, but that's besides the point) than you must also believe John Spano was a great owner because he negotiated and signed the cable deal that is the reason the Isles still exist.
