I'm getting a message that league is full when I try to enter Gold.

I agree with this. The next two debates are mine fields for Romney. Foreign Policy and Medicare are two debates he should avoid. The bar is now high and a repeat with these topics will be difficult. He repeats his performance and he gets my vote.

I too was struck by how disinterested Obama was. I clearly remember a different Obama debater when he was going head-to-head with Clinton and McCain. As PA suggests, he has to run the free world before and after the debate. Who can tell what decisions he is wrestling with. He has to interrupt his day, fly to Denver, swat a mosquito and then go back to work. Romney gets to go back to his hotel room and sip champagne, the President has to go back to work. I also think it is easier to attack then parry. Obama must defend all the bad and put a positive spin on it. I kept waiting for Romney to deliver a decisive punch last night. The President stated numerous times that he found 4 trillion in cuts and executed them. So how then did the deficit go up if you have found 4 trillion in cuts? How much more did you spend?

Trickle down government... Interesting turn of a phrase... Sounds like a Karl Rove-ism... Lifted from CNN Money today.. ROMNEY WINS DEBATE -- ON INTRADE "To the investors on Intrade, there was little question who came away from Wednesday night's presidential debate on top: Mitt Romney. Intrade is a prediction market that allows investors to wager on the outcome of events. In this case: the presidential election. Earlier this week, the site's users placed the odds that President Obama would win re-election at about 75%. But in the minutes after the debate finished, the index showed Obama's numbers had fallen to 68.9%. An hour later, the odds had dropped further, to 67%. The numbers may well change as more trades come in, but the figures suggest Romney improved his chances of capturing the White House. Of course, there is a long way to go, and at least two more presidential debates, before Election Day. Intrade works by letting users swap contracts on events with a yes or no outcome. President Obama will win reelection, or he won't. A correct prediction moves the value of a contract to $10. A miss leaves you with $0. But Intrade isn't just about betting. Its users are -- taken together -- shockingly good at correctly forecasting election results. Intrade bettors correctly picked the winner of every single state during the 2004 presidential election. In 2008, they missed two -- wrongly calling Indiana for John McCain and Missouri for Barack Obama. And that is way, way more accurate than most single polls -- to say nothing of the predictions offered by the professional pundit class." Pretty interesting take on things.. As always, follow the money...

I'm in... No question. Was I supposed to respond to something?

I moved off of 100% voting for Obama to undecided. Romney showed me enough tonight to make me reconsider a vote for Obama.

I think Romney is holding his own..

If they lose? I think they are staring at 1-3 in the next quarter and 1-5 in their next six. They have won one road game lately, Cleveland. And that one win might be tougher than it looks if CJ2K and Britt get it going...

Not that it will ever happen, but that could end tonight, if the moderator had the balls to say after the response, "for the record, the candidate was unable to or did not answer the question". How many times do you think Obama and Romney could take that? "The candidate was unable to respond" would resonate.

Debate night in America.... Otherwise known as Romney's last stand.

Those stats are shocking... So how exactly did Buffalo fall in love with this guy? The 100M D-line yesterday could not have stopped Al Bundy... That was embarassing...

So it's debate week and both sides are doing the predictable talking down their candidate. Interesting to see GOP minions Christie and McCain talking up expectations for Romney this weekend. Romney probably has one last chance to turn my vote this week. I'll be watching with a bowl of popcorn. Voting this November is liking picking between two natural disasters. Do you prefer a flood (Dems) or a fire (GOP)? Once it is over, they will both leave an economic devastation behind. The winner will be impotent because the loser will go into demonize/delay/destroy/defer/deny tactics.

Buffalo failed to make the 2nd half adjustment necessary to win. Go back and look at the tape. The Patriots ran on 2nd down regardless of distance almost throughout the game. Ridley and Bolden we're getting 10 yards on 2nd down throughout the game. Buffalo made no adjustment to that and got gashed all game long.

Fitz is a good fantasy QB and probably the only good fantasy QB and terrible real life QB.

What a disaster today. Two linemen gone, turnovers on goal line, ints, fumbles, and on every second down, NE rushes on 2nd down ALL game and gets hugh yards.

If Obama can swing 25 seats in the House too, Romney's legacy as a Presidential candidate might just be a few notches above Mondale or Dukakis. I don't think the GOP ever had a real chance at the Senate. Looked like a potential on paper, but I think that was fool's gold.

Another day and another set of polls showing the big mo for O. If Romney can't hold a lead in North Carolina and New Hampshire he has no path to the Presidency. This is really turning into a crappy presidential campaign season. All the suspense is being sucked out of it day by day..

So Netanyahu did some sabre rattling in the UN today..

Might be true, but when have you seen so blantant a foul on a Hail Mary? Maybe it happens more than I remember.
