    I use Credit Karma. They're the reason I know my score dropped four points just for opening a new card. They give you explanations on how your score is built and how important the various components are to your composite score. And as Andrew Amerk says, it is free.

    I could be wrong, and I am sure I will be corrected if I am, but he has yet to register a meaningful point in all the junior and exhibition games. That stands out large to me.

    I can tell you first hand, that the age of your credit cards will effect your credit score. When you open new cards, the age of your credit history (they average your cards) drops and so does your score.. Not that that should matter. Getting ahead of your debt should be your first consideration.

    Smart phones, calculators, computers, don't get me started. I rely on my good old land line, abacus and eyes to get the job done. I put one marble in my right pocket for a face off won and one in my left pocket for a face off lost. It's fool proof. We all know that the only thing computers are good for are playing games and ordering pizza.

    It's a marathon, not a sprint. If you are trying to equate it to fantasy football, don't. It's a completely different animal. A bad week won't be good, but you can over come it.

    I may be in a minority here, but pretty much every time the linen hit the field, there was a Bill doing something stupid, SD played a cleaner game and ran the ball down their throats. They threw in enough passing to keep the defense off balance. The offense did not help with their limited drives in the first half. SD had a 17 play drive I think. You will not win many games when a team drives down on you for 17 plays. My Grades. OL - Grade D DL - Grade C LBs - Grade D DBs - Grade D RBs - Grade C QB - Grade D WRs - Grade D TE - GRADE D K - Grade C That is why they lost. The Bills didn't win a single aspect of that game yesterday that mattered: Coaching, Defense, Offense, Special Teams.

    I was surprised it was blacked out on NHL Network. I found it on CSN here in Baltimore.

    Penalties were huge today. Made way, way too many. Linebackers could not cover a crossing route today. Secondary didn't make plays. EJ made some good calls and then over/under threw receivers. SD passes in the flat were absolute killers. Still, all in all, it wasn't a terrible game, it just wasn't a good one.

    You need one solid starter, two would be better (in case one gets hurt). If you have one solid starter and a backup, then you have to watch carefully each week and get that spot start in, should something happen to your starter (night off, injury, etc). Usually, a starter gets 2-3 starts each week. The more subtle game within the game is when to bench a starter. If you are leading the categories (and have met the minimum starts), you need to decide if starting a guy would damage your lead. Any goalie, no matter how good, can get rocked on any given night. Goalie minimum starts is really not a big deal though. Of all the things to worry about in fantasy hockey, goalie starts is only a minor one.

    Yeah I get that. I live here. I deal with it on a daily basis. However, the owner just and I mean just put out a message to season ticket holders saying he didn't know. And a few days later this article hits and says, not only did he know, they all knew. Pretty amazing to see the damage control going on in this town. About the only one that is admitting to the truth is the GM, Newsome. Should be interesting to see which heads roll. I've even seen calls for the owner to sell his team. Crazy.

    That Outside the Lines on Rice and the Ravens really paints the Ravens in a pretty bad light. Heads are going to roll.

    Last week saw the re-emergence of Antonio Gates. And you know how well Buffalo covers a TE. Should be an interesting game... SD has to be viewing this as a trap game after humbling the 'Hawks and before the Jaguars at home.
