For the draft gurus on the board: What's the thoughts on Isaac Howard from USNTDP? Seems like a Quinn like winger. 2nd in ppg for the NTDP this year. Not heard much on the various scouting/draft podcasts though.

Maybe that was the other brother, John. I think Luke is the one in this draft. He plays D.
-
@GASabresIUFAN for some reason I was thinking it would be kinda neat if we drafted the twins! Didn't realise Casey's bro was in the draft too.

Which ones will be in the building next week? Get them a contract and a place to stay ASAP.

Bold Sabres Prediction for the 2022-23 Season

Damn you, that's what I was going to say haha. -
He's not as gushing in this video as he was previously, but does make a reasonable case in defence of his numbers.

Savoie seems to be the likely "victim" of the rise of some other players. I really like him. I would love them to swing for Miroshnichenko at 16, but I could see them going for Geekie or McGroarty there. And he loooooooooves Lambert.

Just finished a rewatch of rogue1. This is my favourite of the whole saga. -
I liked Geekie's interview on NHL draft class. Dispelled a bit of uncertainty about him. Said he likes Baseball, but loves hockey. Knows his skating needed to improe and has taken steps to do so. Also said that he hopes he has finished growing so he can fill out and also improve skating even more. Feels like he had to work on increasing skill to beat guys due to lack of skating early on. He's making all the sounds of a late bloomer that I think Adams likes.

Has Savoie at 9, Lambert at 16, Nathan Gaucher at 28.

Ignore me. Wrong thread. News is here https://www.sabrespace.com/community/topic/29433-2022-nhl-draft-rankings/?do=findComment&comment=1505407

I think/hope that we have the momentum to pass this independence referendum. The lies that the pro-union group spread last time and the absolute corruption of the UK government should be enough to get the support we need at the poll. Many of the older generation voted to stay the last time as they were told its the only way Scotland could stay in the EU then saw the English vote pulled us out of the EU anyway. Go Scotland Must Win

"There’s a return to the UK for former Coventry and Dundee defenceman Shawn Boutin, who signs from Mulhouse in France. Boutin wears #27. And, in news that has gone down really well with the Purple Army, the King is back! Yes, Mathieu Roy is back with the Clan for another season following his top scoring exploits last year." Excited to have Roy back. He's a PPG players and really exciting to watch.

I'll defer to @DarthEbriate on that. Haha.

Are Nadeau and Bloom in the Canada squad for the WJC?
-
That's a good list. Nick Paul, mikayev, nickushkin would be good additions impo.
-
But it's the alledged circumstances that limit the option NS. If he has full nmc and wants to come here, why should we be paying through the nose for a 1 year rental? We are the bruins here in the Hall scenario.

Is there any actual evidence that Lambert is a "bad" guy or has character issues. From reports it suggests that the teams he wanted out of were not utilising him in a good way. Source is the scouching podcast fwiw.

Lol at the people trading a 1st rounder plus stuff. If they aren't retaining then I'd offer up future considerations.

In my house its steak and sausages. And if I'm feeling I want something different I might cook some haloumi or tikka chicken. Haggis on the grill sadly does not work!
