It's an interesting take for sure. But I felt that Sean McIndoe's thoughts on the Puck Soup podcast were very insightful. Essentially disagreeing completely with the above. This has appeal. I wouldn't be upset at all. I like the idea of boldy and rossi. And along with Cozens, quinn, casey, dahlin, jokiharju etc the sabres could progress as a solid unit together under the tutelage of development guru Granato. I would even offer to swap firsts this year if it would seal the deal.

I think you'd need to add our unprotected 1st in 22 and/or 23 tbh instead of this year, just due to the players coming up.

Had time to listen to this and digest. DG comes across as very insightful into his own players. I liked his explanation of contentment V Happiness... is this a hint that perhaps we won't be seeing many big moves (JE, SR) this offseason? His thoughts on development and player comfort were interesting too. Develop the player and the analytics will follow. On the face of these interviews and the players' turnaround I think he is a good candidate for the guys we have, at this point in time.
