We didn’t. To start the season Skinner was replaced by Peterka. Peterka was then replaced by Benson on the second line. Mitts was replaced by Cozens and McLoed moved into Cozens spot. Olofsson played 50 games with limited ice time on mostly on the 3rd and 4th line.

I sure hope they don’t trade Peterka for this guy.

Peterka is going to end up in New York and the Sabres will get the players they think (and probably know) are done.

I’m thinking the same thing. Dahlin has no help. It’s always the same guys, Muel, Power, and tonight it’s Cozens The have 5 goals, and they just blew a 2 goal lead in the final 2:17 the second period. That was the time to tighten up the D and not give up a late goal, but this team just floats along and is clueless as to how the game should be played. The Lightning need the points. I think the Sabres chances of winning are close to zero.

Absolutely. Then he added a few tougher players in the off season but per usual with Adams, not enough.

This is new info and not great to hear.

I’m drinking fine scotch, not kool aid. And you will not find a single post from me saying he is a first line wing. Besides, he can play on THIS crappy teams first line, but he is better served on the second.

Not really directed at you. There are lots of folks that pounce on his missed shots or whatever he may do that isn’t perfect. He seems to be held to a higher standard than what is realistic.

I’m down in Fort Meyers. Played a pretty good round of golf this morning. Had a very nice dinner with long time friends. Sipping a nice Single Malt. old can be good.

Tuch scores again and he keeps playing well. Yet he has many detractors here. It just surprises me that some of the fans who follow the team closest don’t like him.
