Last game of a long and mostly good season. No Tage takes out some of the fun for sure. Not sure how motivated these teams will be. Yesterday's game had several things happening that made the game important to win. I think we should destroy Columbus and win easily, which probably means CBJ will show pride and play hard. I was thinking Comrie gets a game but that is just at WAG on my part.

Unfortunately, his chance to come to Buffalo and to be a leader came and went. He went to a perfect situation for him in St Louis, and maybe another good one in Toronto too. Not a fit for this group.

We still have Krebs working hard at his game. Kulich is coming up at some point and maybe Rousek? Jost and Zemgus will be FA's but could still be a part of it. Perhaps they add another vet that is a skilled defensive player that can take faceoffs and play on the PK? That doesn't yet consider Östlund, or Rosen, or the Russians. Many more pieces than positions.

I think he is another Sabres player on the rise. Dahlin is tight with him because he says he is very competitive. It’s possible that is helping Casey channel his competitiveness the right way. The kid who couldn’t do a pull up is becoming a workout guy and he is getting stronger, smarter, and better.
