Ok. Tuch is fine. I forget he is back this season has had so many roster moves with Covid, etc.

Leave him down there and let him dominate and maybe win some games and have fun. We have seen a little peek. There are no mentors and no benefit to him playing up there. Playing in Buffalo will not help his development right now. They are a complete mess. When they decide they want to get serious about hockey in Buffalo then they should call up their best AHL prospect.

I bolded the stuff I disagree with most. My opinion. You get better by improving first within the year, and then year over year. Simple. No matter how low the bar is set in Buffalo, they just don’t do that. Why? Because the FO and coaching staff can’t ever get this team playing better within the same year. How about getting better as the season goes on? Like Detroit is doing. Growth has to be measured by improvement in W-L. The players have to get that. In Buffalo it’s wait until next year, this year doesn’t count yet. ***** on that, it is killing the franchise. Set high expectations and go for it in manageable steps. But go for it now. No wonder the place is empty. We are playing worse now that at the start of the season, or at any point actually. Very few players look better now than the did at the start of the year, overall this is a wasted season once again. That means “The TEAM” is not improving yet. The strategy is that next year we get rid of some the worst players and add four or five rookies and then we try to get better? Right? Is next year the year we can start measuring performance? Is next year the year they finish stronger and show they belong in the league? It’s just as likely that they stay bottom 5 with that many rookies playing and then the impatience sets in and a new coach is brought in. That coach will likely be a low budget first timer. Wash, rinse, repeat.

How many turnovers before the Larkin scores? Three? Ray is ridiculous with his morale victories. Shut up Rob, they suck again. What I saw after the 2nd goal was no effort, no shots on goal other than Tuch’s weak breakaway, careless lazy play, too many turnovers in our zone, and a team that looks ready for the season to end. Keep Krebs and Quinn and Samuelson away from these guys. They aren’t going to help anyway. This team is folding.

Yeah ok, @dudacek is polite, knowledgeable, insightful, and a great guy. Although his NHL "career" never got off the ground, congrats for your contributions at SabreSpace. Still, you are a wasted #1 pick, #17 overall, and selected by my replacement Scotty Bowman. I would have taken Chelios but he wanted to pick Czechs and Fins and try to outsmart everyone. These blown picks leave me as the greatest GM in the history of the Sabres, and the Leafs, and maybe all of Hockey. In other news, Punch has been on the SabreSpace weekly three stars list at least a few times in his career. Usually when the joking and Tom Foolery in the GDT's is at a peak, that is when I shine.

I dedicated the whole evening yesterday to the Bills. That included post game texting and streaming WGR radio. Glad I did. The Bills were superb. In fact, on offense they were perfect. What a treat. The Sabres just played a strong game against a better much Nashville team, then they go out and stink it up in Detroit and get shut out. I just don't get the uneven performances. Detroit is a team they can catch next season, they better start working on it.

I must be in the most category. My issue with him is he is not physical at all. He can’t move anyone out from in front of the net.

I hope that Adams moves up to President. Karmanos to GM and a new AGM added. Meaning Kim is not active in day to day operations. I cannot see him selling the team or even a piece of the team, Any other change is concerning to me given the Pegula track record. No new Pittsburgh or Penn State people please.

I put Dahlin at the top as well. It’s pretty easy to see that he is so much better than anyone else back there. Yes, he has made a lot of mental errors. Lots of minutes, lots of losing, high expectations, and playing with a bunch of bums will do that. His early struggles came when Joker got hurt and they paired him with Butcher. That was bad. I think Dahlin has been really solid recently. No qualms with him as an All Star either. He is still 21 and he is starting to get a bit edgier too. Still have high hopes. I don’t get why 'he is not more popular? After Dahlin and Joker we give Samuelsson a shot. Power will be playing next year too. This group needs veteran knowledge, leadership, grit, and support. I still favor adding two good vets next season to round out the 6. Bryson and Pisser (maybe if we only bring in one vet) make the roster for 7/8 next season. Heck, let Fitz compete too, he looks like a gamer. Johnson goes to the AHL for seasoning. Miller is tradable at the deadline, so is Hagg. Stockpile picks and let our analytics guys find something. Go Bills! Go Sabres!
