  1. We are going to see. If Dahlin only misses a few games we should be ok as long as we do not lose anyone else back there. Tuch - I will bet is 3 weeks, because they are admitting to 2 right now.
  2. Playing a rookie and a sophomore 28 minutes each is not sustainable, but they can certainly go 23-25 minutes. Joker and Boosh need to step up, they will see more minutes. Boosh is the type that just might elevate his game with the extra minutes. Clague AND Bryson in the same lineup with no Dahlin to take some of their minutes is the problem.
  3. I do not see that, I see turnovers and I am getting jumpy about team defense, it needs more priority to help this team make the playoffs. I will watch him closer.
  4. Excellent. Still be careful with the power drill/driver, set the adjustable torque low to start and don't get greedy with he speed (from my own experience). The mounting rails should help a lot and really eases the handling aspect, which is huge. Put on the rails and square 'em up.
  5. I would think Levi is our most important prospect right now.
  6. You seem to be handy. No more big projects like this for me, I will help my sons with their houses but they do the bull work. I provide the experience and finesse and try to keep them from cutting the wrong corners. LOL. I would consider building all the cabinets first and doing a trial install. Do not expect your walls and corners to be true, so you typically install the cabinets first, use shims to get them both level and plumb side to side and front to back. Then do the backsplash last - assuming tile. Then add cabinet trim pieces to cover the seams and any gaps to the walls and ceiling. My experience with IKEA is limited to storage projects and shelving for my vast vintage audio equipment and record collection --- you have to be careful building them as you can weaken a joint if you don't have good alignment when fastening. I used extra bracing on certain non-visible joints that would carry a big load. Think about the load distribution both down and lateral. If you do a trial install you will be glad you added extra bracing. Good luck with your project. Keep us updated.
  7. Yup, good stuff Rico. VO has had a few d-zone turnovers recently from what looks like lazy play. He better fix that. I cant believe that DG played him in the last minute. I think he was looking for his shot accuracy to help us get an ENG. Dahlin and Tuch both looked banged up after that game.
  8. Awesome for you to see a great game like that. I also noticed that they did much better, and worked a lot harder on their breakouts last night. Defensive zone play has not been a strength all season and the forwards are a part of the problems. So I have been harping on that for awhile. I thought the Sabres looked tired in the 3rd and they kept it simple and rolled lines quickly, so it was harder to generate offense. The key was coming back after Florida scored and getting that 3rd goal. That was good road hockey. Skinner had just missed a breakaway a few shifts prior when Bobrovsky gave him some room high, blocker side. Skinner found that same spot but from a much tougher angle to score that 3rd goal. The first line showed up last night for sure.
  9. In this case multiple GMs. Skinner was brought in by JBot, who also signed him to that big and questionable contract. Tage was brought in by JBot, who had no plan on how to develop him. Tuch was a key piece in the Eichel trade, brought in by Adams. Adam’s knew how to develop Tage but it is Granato that gets the most credit. Granato put them together and switched Tage to center, he rehabilitated Skinner, and he helped make Tuch reach new heights. Granato seems to know how to bring out the most in players.
  10. Oh. I don’t pay that close attention to his messaging. I don’t see that comment as insulting or poking fans, but more as a comment that they are finally getting somewhere. I watch ESPN+ so when the games ends and they go to commercials I switch to the opponents feed, the Sabres do not show their post game show on ESPN+. The Tampa and Florida post game guys were all very much up on the Sabres progress. Dave Andreychuck does Tampa’s show. Last night Ed Jovanowski was on in Florida, he said he talked to Rob Ray before the game, he seemed to know a lot about the Sabres and he was very complimentary towards Adams and Granato for getting things back on track in Buffalo. We are talking about an NHL Historical amount of losing and suffering for this fan base and a lot NHL Insiders around the league seem to like seeing it hopefully come to an end.
  11. Can Anderson play enough games to warrant that ?
  12. Sabres 40-28 lead in face offs. We also had more hits. No doubt the Sabres were tired and were outshot in the 2nd and 3rd. But they got that critical 3rd goal.
  13. I am so pleased with them. Winning back-to-back against vs Tampa and Florida Florida post game guys giving Sabres lots of credit. Especially Adams and Granato. You guys that complain about these guys are just wrong. We finally have something good going
  14. Nice scrum at the end. We are officially in Florida’s heads. We don’t have to take their $hit anymore
  15. Let get some players into the neutral zone once the puck clears our zone.
  16. Krebs had a lazy forecheck and an even lazier change. Must be running out of legs. Dig deeper boys.
