  1. Moving Reinhart........touchy situation. The return should be a top flight LW'er or a 22 - 24 yr old solid #2 d man and a high mid 1st rd pick for starters. He most likely excels at center, based on what I've seen video on him from his Jr. days. I personally would let Arizona re-unite the Duclair, Domi, Reinhart world Jr's line if they gave Dvorak and Chychrun in return.
  2. What about trading 8th to Vegas for 13 & 15. Is the difference in talent enough to hang on to 8?
  3. Hiss boo, I'm switching banks :D Carrier hurts a bit, speedy LH LW'er. I guess Ullmark will be the back up this season. Now what? Trade with the Islanders? With Vegas? When the freeze lifts tomorrow.
  4. They've taken only 2 RHD, the rest are all lefties.Plus, if the suspected moves are made post draft, they'll be cap light. Bogosain, I'd bank on it.
  5. No word on the Sabres. Something has got to be brewing.
  6. Franson, its got to be Franson.....hey, can never have enough depth ;)
  7. Any chance at all Bots does a deal with Vegas for one of these defensemen?
  8. Saw the article where Bots says he's had conversations about moving up, moving down and so on. Any chance we can move up enough to nab Maker?
  9. With all of these "speculated" side deals protecting defensemen it appears to me in any event that Bogo's value both in contract for cap floor as well as 3/4 d man status has his stock as the choice from the Sabers rising fast.
  10. Power play maybe. I still can't fathom why people want one of the better face off centers in the league (ROR) on the wing. It doesn't appear to be the best use of an asset.
  11. Yea, Domi played both center and wing. Surely there will be goalies available. No?
  12. Just looked at the Islanders ED situation. Words out they have a deal with Vegas not to touch their forwards. They left De Haan exposed. Dregger put out there they are working a deal to being in a top 6 forward. Could a Kane for De Haan deal be in the works? Also, what is Arizona going to do with their goalie situation now that Smith is gone? Chad Johnson most likely doesn't get re-signed and they are young LW heavy with Crouse, Perlini, Dvorak, Domi, Martinook and Pulkkinen. Any chance a Lehner deal to Arizona lands one of their LW young guns?
  13. Wouldn't mind Galchenyuk on Jack's LW.
  14. I think its Bogo. They are going to wheel deal a D man they take for picks. Bogo fills a couple of needs for them. His age allows them some experience with talent, his contract allows them cap floor help while the 1st year of their picks that do join the big club over these next 3 years ELC's don't force them to take less desirable contracts. I don't believe their taking any UFA's from us. Why would they when they can wait to July 1st to talk to them anyways. And why protect Beaulieu over Bogosain if there was already a deal in place? I'm not buying it. Nothing reported solid.
  15. Well, we do it's just that their a bit younger. I see Bailey as a 3rd line RW'er. Same with Fasching. Baptists on the other hand I see as a top 6 RW'er. The only reason I didn't like losing Carrier was because he is a LH shot.
  16. Galchenyuk most likely gets dealt for D.The question is who's the dance partner? Vegas takes Dumba from Minny and flips him in a package? One of many scenarios I'm sure.
  17. McPhee should just suck it up and take Derek Grant. After all, those pre-season games are going to be pivotal for long term season ticket sales in that window before the actual season starts. There might be fence sitters, and grant is the guy to pull'em off the fence pre-season style :)
  18. Agreed, Ullmark is most likely staying.
  19. Maybe. Hard to say really. But looking at those unprotected lists, man, Vegas has real options here. Like I said, should be fun seeing what McPhee's vision is. And to add, I think Bogo's cap hit is attractive to them in both time and amount for cap floor purposes. That combined with his age and I can't see Vegas not be interested.
  20. No real surprises here. Carrier is a 3/4 line guy. More upside in an Ennis, if he can stay healthy. I think we lose Bogo or Moulson. Maybe swing a deal for one of the D men available to them. Were probably going to eat the last year of Gorges contract, can't see Vegas taking him. But, all in all nothing to be concerned over. In any event, Vegas has a decent amount of ammo to select from. Should be fun seeing what they do.
  21. I think so to. I knew nothing about this guy until reading here. Just knew he was drafted after Armia. But if he can find chemistry with a D partner here I'm happy happy
  22. :) Hey, 3 out of 5 Sabers fans say so, and as you know, 3 is more than 2 :P
  23. It's no myth. He overpaid on Lehner.
  24. I think we lose Bogo. I can't see them taking Ennis or Moulson. But, if its anyone of those 3, I'm content
