  1. It's a Turkey Shoot here in Philly...………………..
  2. With or without Jack, Philly has size up and down their line up. With out size to match it, Buffalo will find it extremely difficult at both ends of the ice.
  3. High air, low air, side air, behind the back air and of course, the ever coveted never duplicated, triple lindey air ?
  4. I checked ESPN 8, the Ocho, Cotton's doing pre game now ? He actually said, "Eichel out, that's a bold strategy Cotton"
  5. I happen to agree with this. Moving Skinner up to the Eichel line would most certainly increase scoring given everything you've pointed out here.
  6. Well, it's nice to know other teams GM's are still drawing breathe. Just remind a couple of us to pick Bott's carcass up out of his chair for the "Weekend at Jason's" post failed season party...………...
  7. So the freeze is coming up, no movement from the Sabres as of yet. Starting to look like it'll be a deadline type of year barring any magic beans Botts pulls out. How are the Sabres going to get to the playoffs with only Eichel producing with consistency? That is the question I have for botts.
  8. This. Lost in all the commercial hype, the hate of the either the religious significance or the spirit of the time of the year is the message a guy from Nazareth gave to the world somewhere around 2000 years ago. That message is to love one another unconditionally. Inspiring message, very sad adherence by the species to it.
  9. and that's the game boys. oh well, the streak lives.
  10. You guys through with the warm up skate now?
  11. I swear Rodriguez is completely useless. And ya, kyle!
  12. I'm a "Luke ambient air temp" fan. He's not consistent enough to play on the 1st line. But, If Buffalo can ever get a 2nd line center worth a dam, he'll slot in nicely there.
  13. Okposo, the last of the Murray era disasters. He'll be here until the end unless Seattle gets paid to take him. Just another footnote in the complete and utter failure now infamously known as "The Tank Era" here in Buffalo. With that being said, as you look at the AHL pipeline and the current roster, I don't see any size with snarl and speed in the foreseeable short term future with this club barring a trade.
  14. I happen to agree with this. Ullmark is getting hung out to dry. Botterill's inability to add to the roster in-season is hurting the over all team imo.
  15. And this is the core of it. The Sabres current roster just isn't a regularly physical roster. They aren't built that way.
  16. The Sabres still need size with speed and snarl, but this is only 1 game out of 82. Maybe Botts will make a move around this time of year, but I'm very skeptical he will. I think we have to wait until the deadline. In the mean time, Toronto will continue to own us as they appear to have righted their ship for the season. Meh, it is what it is I guess.
  17. Sounds reasonable. Couple of questions on the views expressed. Who is going to center a Skinner / Reinhart line? Would they be looking for a right handed shot RW for VO and Eichel.
  18. I believe this will help his game a great deal. Build up his confidence to boot. Maybe he can find chemistry with Tage or one of the up and coming wingers.
  19. Outside of his stats not looking very good, I know little about him. Is he physical, does he pk or something?
  20. While yes, timing was a major contributing factor, players like to play there. And what's not to like, the greater Denver area is quite beautiful, albeit pricey as hell. As for Bogo, I have nothing against h8s performance personally, I am one of the guilty one's however that would like to move along from him given the amount of injury time. I guess I just don't see the ROI on the just over 5 mil for the time he's been here.
