  1. Bad for a young player.Botterill must address the roster, this cannot continue.
  2. Yea, I'm pretty mich done with no responses to the constant liberties being taken on ice. Someone, anyone needs to step in and intervene to fix this *****.
  3. They really need to stop these Monday and Wednesday 7pm games until my classes finish up ? Go Sabres!
  4. Jack can stay..... I'll allow it ?
  5. They looked good. Whatever Girgs had for breakfast......yea, more of that.
  6. They have to win this one. This just cannot continue.
  7. I'll take "Wedding Night Disasters" for 500 Alex
  8. I would hope Botterill is open to just about anything at this point. The season has plenty of games left to right the ship but bringing back most of the same roster was a terrible idea. He can still salvage it I suppose, if he can find partners willing to trade at reasonable rates.
  9. Nicely written. And pretty much spot on. Personally, the entire situation is now beyond a tragedy in the purest sense. I have had to face the reality that the Buffalo Sabres organization is in complete shambles. And what sinks my local team fandom even deeper in to the abyss of despair is that there is a very strong argument we could fall even farther down in to the depths of hockey hell. What a complete disaster the past 8 yrs have been. I still remember Pegula standing at 5he podium proclaiming the sole existence for the Sabres is to win Stanley Cups. I am now 100% confident this season is another write off season. How truly sad, depressing and quite honestly, astonishing that fans still fill the arena.
  10. well, 30 only gets me back to 20 yrs old.....:)
  11. 30 for me ?
  12. So, by your own posts, especially this one, you believe fixing the top 6 will catapult the Sabres organization enough to just ignore the bottom 6. Good to know.
  13. You do realize there is more wrong with car than the engine. The brakes need replacing, the fuel tank has a hole in it, both tail lights are out, the alternator is shot, the radiator needs a flush and the transmission is shot. I see your point. And not sure, force of habit I guess.
  14. When you don't have the money for the top brand parts, you buy the generic brand. A change needs to be made, and if Botterill is having a difficult time finding a partner for top 6, he should still look to address the bottom 6.
  15. Apple's and oranges. As was stated early on, shake up trades, change of scenery trades sometimes work. Keeping the same broken motor that has proven it won't run right even with switching mechanics is also great, but the neighbors ate still looking at the same car sitting on the front lawn not moving. Try installing the used part, you never know.
  16. 1. I'm not pushing Jankowski, I merely lamented that if Calgary and Buffalo were speaking, based on media reports, that was most likely who I guessed they were speaking on. 2. I find it perplexing you consider the current roster fodder "possible wasted trade capital" given their performance to date. I mean, really, not one person has posted Reinhart or Eichel for Jankowski. So, where is this "pure gold high value" trade capital you keep referring to on this roster? I mean honestly, it's not like adding a Girgs, Larsson, Rodriguez, Sheary, etc, etc is going to make or break a top 6 deal imo. We have plenty of "get the hell off the roster" to go around I figure.
  17. Maybe, just maybe, the current players on the PK aren't capable of doing so. 3 coaches later with most of the same on ice personnel, all 3 coaches coach the "stand around don't pressure" technique? My gut tells me that's not the case, but who knows.
  18. 2 defensemen scored tonight. Both the PP and PK need to be addressed. Male the deal for Jankowski if that's what it is Botterill, and find a top 6 RW'er that can pot the puck.
  19. Well played good sir, well played ?
  20. Looking like it couldn't hurt to pick up a PK kind of player, eh?
  21. Put Olofsson on the left side ? On the next one put him in the upper slot ? Then on the next one stick him out at the point ? Just keep moving him around like a game of whack-a-mole ?
  22. Meh, we'll see. We've heard this late in the off season with chatter from the likes of Dregs. See it when I believe it and that all. Besides, outside of Eichel, Dahlin, Jokerharu and Reinhart, (Skinner has an NTC I believe) anyone on this team should be considered a movable piece imo.
  23. I understand. Was merely pointing out offensive production isn't the only area 0f need.
  24. If you haven't recognized PK, center fo% and net front presence size as area needs, well (shrugs shoulders).
