  1. Just another sad season. How many more lay before us?
  2. quick someone, what's our record when Girgenson's scores?
  3. That is all on Buffalo's lackadaisical inability to want possession of the puck. They look lazy.
  4. No question on why it is struggling. The only question I have is why did Botterill re-sign/qualify some of this fodder and why didn't he go harder in FA this post off season for players that would have been upgrades? Is it, as some have lamented, Botterill's inability to assess talent, chemistry and a lack of a true vision for a plan?
  5. NY is getting very restrictive on many fronts, that is true. Yes, there are Tornado's every month, of every year in the United States, that is true. And yes, the warm moist air from the gulf meeting the dry warm air sliding off the rockies forms supercells that create many of those tornado's. Texas does have the most Tornado's annually, yes, Kansas has the most active and Alabama and I believe one other state have the most F5's, but yes, Texas has the most. Utah is beautiful, both North and South. Highly recommend the Ogden area, Provo/Orem corridor, Moab or around St. George. I spent many years along the front range, from Texas/New Mexico all the way up to Wyoming/Montana and everywhere in between. Your statements are correct.
  6. Pay Check ?
  7. Not surprising at all. An organization that shows consistent compete year after year for the length of time the Bruins have are what allows assets to become increased in value to move. Toffoli would look real good in Boston. It's the difference between winning organizations and losing ones. Creating the Culture of Success. Imho.
  8. I've lamented on it. It's a serious thought in this fans mind at least, given the 0 forward traction on progress with the roster. This is the core of the issue, I agree.
  9. Well, that's it for me folks. Until they play again. Go Sabres!
  10. now now, Bot's started a conversation 24 months ago for a center, he's just biding his time until the price is right, which may be this month. Maybe not this year, but this month ?
  11. We gave away ROR for nothing. It is what it is. On to the game. Come on boys, start playing freaking hockey!
  12. The Blues are putting on a possession and pass clinic right now.
  13. Frolik with a hatty, unseats Reinhart on the first line, goes on to become the most prolific scorer for the rest of the season...……... That's right folks, you heard it here first...…………. And it all starts tonight...………. AND Don't forget to offer the tip to your waitress...……… ? Go Sabres!!!!!
  14. Maybe. But the past year has not been kind to his play, and in a league where the "what have you done for me lately" mantra sets the price, I can't see him being worth more than a late 1st stand alone.
  15. Yes Please. Bogo and the 2020 2nd for Smith and the Coyotes 3rd seems very fair.
  16. Just perusing the San Jose Sharks capfriendly page. Man are they handcuffed with defensemen contracts. I don't even think Seattle would touch thse Burns or Vlasic contracts, yikes. But, I was looking at their roster age, I would love a deal for Hertl. I don't think they'd part with Meier's given his young age, but Hertl is a trade target that really interests me anyways. Even if he's not available, I'd would be supportive of Botterill making the effort with draft picks and maybe a prospect type package. Dreaming Thoughts, by Scotty's Sabres Raising the Cup Dream ?
  17. Smith is already back in Rochester though. At least, capfriendly had him clearing yesterday.
  18. Is there a broader move in play here? Maybe Bogo on the cusp of being moved?
  19. Does this officially make them sellers? If so, any pickings on that roster that may be available? Edit: looking over their capfriendly roster, Ellis injured, any chance of a Bogo for Craig Smith swap?
  20. I didn't have the opportunity to watch every game he played in?
  21. It was an entertaining game. I enjoyed it. Was hoping they'd pull it out, but they did show me they are truly some experience and a couple pieces away from taking that next step. I think the Bills are definitely on the right path here. Allen Will be a year wiser next season, and very optimistic they'll have collected a couple of needed weapons for him. The defense is still young and should only get better as well. Disappointed they lost? Sure, hey, I'm a fan. But very optimistic and upbeat about their future. Go Bills!
  22. Ok, I'm off to puck up my 75" TV, left it at the in-laws Christmas eve, going back today for the Bills game. Go Sabres!!!! Go Bills!!!!!
  23. dam, so much for the shutout, but hey, just win the game boys.
  24. Hey, was that a PP goal? No sit...……… nice!!!
  25. Wilson looking good out there.
