  1. That would be nice but if a lesser move is done I would consider going after Kreider.
  2. I wonder if any of this has to do with the up coming negotiations with the NHLPA. Is there something that these players might be fighting for that could cause them to hesitate on the long term contracts until maybe after that? Don't know what but, there could be something that will be advantageous to wait for.
  3. I thought about the bolded and decided ....... I hope we're not "sellers" (nor cellars) at the deadline. That would not compute.
  4. There really aren't many options when it comes to Bogo so, out of that group of players I think you have to consider him. Sure, some people would like to be done with him now but, one more season I can deal with. He seemed to be a bit better last season with the surgery he had (needed a maintenance day here and there) so maybe we get lucky and he has a decent year (not enough to re-sign after this but, hey). Useful enough is all I ask.
  5. That might be hard to do at this time. Trades require a partner to deal with. I would assume Kreuger/ Botts would like to get a look at some of the players acquired before sending out players they might replace unless there is no doubt it's an upgrade. Injuries are a question mark too. Do you keep Risto and hope Bogo is ready? you might have to wait a bit to see how his re-hab is going. Arbitration ending soon and may see some sort of move(s) there. But, many questions need answering first before any moves.
  6. Although I could be wrong too. He could've been talking about Asplund or Ruotsalainen, LOL.
  7. I hope it's not.....I believe he's talking about Rasmus Dahlin.
  8. I don't think Nelson fulfill s their need for a physical Dman. They got man handled by CBJ. But, who knows, maybe McCabe?
  9. I believe he is a Sophomore.
  10. I take it that you guys prefer "Kruegsie"
  11. These guys all have nearly the same numbers as Mitts and played on better teams......if Mitts has to "battle" for the 2C spot, than none of these guys are worth the trouble, JMO. If I had to pick one of them it would likely be Bjugstad.
  12. Just rumor. My source has confirmed that someone just put a"wet paint" sign on the wall and they are filming to see whom touches it to see if it's really wet. RaKru said it's an exercise in discipline/anticipation/ and will power implemented to test the reaction time of the players as related to their Fenwick and Corsi numbers.
  13. Watching all the big hits in the first 5mins of that video makes me wonder how many Casey Nelson's there are in Russian hockey.
  14. Draftsite has him listed at 6'2-192lbs.
  15. I liked Zadorov when I saw him at D-camp and Samuelsson reminds me of a more skilled and more mature Z.
  16. Then what does Risto have to do with it....he never forechecks?
  17. ** ALERT **...while a seemily "fun" excercise, you are giving out personal identifying info that may be used to gather other info on yourself over the internet. Just a precaution.
  18. I stand corrected and apologize my good man. Edit: I also corrected my post.
  19. Good list, however, those guys are pretty much already top prospects. I want to keep an eye on players like Weissbach, Davidsson, and maybe Huglen, Murray, Fitzgerald.
  20. There, edited it for you. That doesn't mean I can't hope for more , or does it? Why can't we be a team with one two of the chosen 27 ....got it, because Buffalo. But, like you said, I agree it would be an improvement for sure.
  21. I'm not sure but, I think I agree with you...LOL
  22. I can't say for sure but, where he says "another 10-15 assists", I believe he means in addition to the 15a he had last year. That would put him at 45-50pts and still not what I would hope for from that position but closer.
  23. What are you referring to in the bolded section? Anyone in particular?
