  1. at least hutton wont be in goal giving up 27 goals tonight
  2. at what point do you just cut ties with hutton. he is complete garbage. he is a loser and there is no reason the sabres should lose when scoring 5 goals. none
  3. i like the offense so far this game, its a shame they will need to score 6 to win this one with hutton in net
  4. cernak boarded a wild player last night pretty bad. im sure nothing will happen
  5. I agree with some of this, actually much of it. I watch the wild a lot too. Probably as much as the sabres. The wild focus on defense and forecheck primarily. the sabres defense compared to the wild is night and day. I do think the sabres have great scorers. I really like Johansson and sheary, I also loved the larry line when they were all together. the problem though, they been giving up a lot of 4 goal games, whether it's defense or PK, or goaltending. It's hard to win when you give up so many.
  6. I was joking when I said no goalies after 20 minutes of ot, but really you could do something like that. Someone will score quickly. I just really hate the shootout and really don't care about the point for ot loss
  7. They should eliminate the ot point all together. You win (ot or regulation) you get 2, you lose you get 0. I think they kept the tie point in for historical purposes only. I also think the shootout should go away. Ot is 3 on 3 until someone scores. Maybe after 20 minutes you can do a 5 on 5, but no goalies ?
  8. ^^ Skinner has been missing Johansson. Shearry out long time too. They were out for a while and that's when the sabres collapsed
  9. I see the problem with the sabres as this, and if I'm wrong please correct me 1. Sabres are offensively minded mostly, but dont score enough to cover their lack of defensive skills 2. They dont have top line goaltenders that can save them when, the lack of defense or when big mistakes happen 3. The PK is atrocious. Defense again. 4. They seem to get down on themselves a little too quickly. This is not as obvious as in previous years though. 5. They dont have enough presence in front of the goal to wack in the rebounds. At the beginning of the season it seemed Samson was there all the time camped in front. Not too much lately They have been saying they have too much defense players, but really they dont have enough good defense players. Too many average defenders. Getting another top 6 scorer will help cover up that fact, but you wont win many games when you give up 4, which has happened too often lately
  10. I always try to be positive but I can see only 5 wins
  11. They wouldn't but I'm using that as example. Also okposo is probably 1 hit away from being LTIRetiring
  12. Give up a 2020 #1 and a 21 #2 for gaudreau, and make them take okposo to help on the cap issue. They can get creative to get the player they need. I would be fine with losing a 1st and 2nd for elite player. Heck, if they wanted a minor league player too, I would be fine with that also.
  13. when is dahlin supposed to be back. man. oh well, its late for me. i will have to pick it up tomororw. night guys
  14. i have never heard "cancel culture" before, and i hope i never do again
  15. Is there a clip of the second elbow
  16. Do you think Hutton is secretly injured? Not sure why he is so broken to the point that he is not even alternating starts. I wonder if he is still racing the snail or if he got his stuff together
  17. Wasnt this guy undrafted? How come nobody picked him
  18. I'm a red sox fan, so that was a freudian slip. Woops
  19. I would like to see stats like puck stolen, intercepted, blocked shots, hits, etc Unfortunately using points and +/- is not a good indicator of how good a defenseman is, it only says his offensive abilities. In my opinion, I would rather have a defenseman with 15 or 20 points in a season but is very defensive minded, blocking shots, forecheck the puck away, clearing the front of the goalie. To me, that is what makes a good dman
  20. Nice. I can't wait for him to come to Buffalo for good. I hope he is everything I hope he is
  21. I want to see it. I hope cernak got what he had coming
  22. It was a MMA style elbow to the face. It was absolutely intentional and why everyone was so pissed
  23. Its interesting that the wild gm lost his job after 1 season for the trades he made and so far this season, it looks like it's working out for them. They got younger and faster and playing really well. Sure, they were a nightmare last season and the start of this season, but once Boudreau got his lines right, they really started clicking
  24. I agree with this part whole heartedly. I only take an isle seat so I have some room on the side, but even then you have joe jerkoff wanting to get a soda every 6.4 seconds making you get up. The best seat I ever took was in philly. they have luxury box seats where you have a private bar, private bathroom and there is bar seats facing the ice. If you can get in the stadium when it opens up, you can get a bar seat. (They are not assigned seats) Oh and the price of the ticket is 140 dollars, which is what, 200 level in buffalo. When I said I was surprised how expensive it was for tickets, I really meant it. Pegula should be ashamed with how much they charge compared to other stadiums
  25. Jared spurgeon of the wild broke his hand last night blocking a shot, maybe they will trade for one of the sabres d-man. Zucker or fiala anyone? Both could be top 6, zucker is top 6 now, fiala should be top 6 in a year. Mikko Koivu also out, but didn't hear why on him. I would like zucker for risto, straight up
