I dont remember Hutton being such a loser before. He played terrible and when he got pulled he gave 0 effort to get back. I really hope the players and coaches get on him He would be doing sprints from the goal to the bench until he loses his cookies. Too bad we didnt get joel quenneville.

this is my last comment on this game. it put me in a bad mood now, which shouldnt happen. I honestly dont care the team played like trash in the third period. I dont care they got blown out. I care they did not stand up for their guy getting elbowed in the face to the point of a concussion. I have full on supported this team to the point of silliness. They needed to show support to their player, but instead they put their tail between their legs and did nothing. hutton going for a slow sunday stroll to the bench for the 6th skater is another thing that needs to be addressed. he didnt skate hard, and a team suspension with a team fine should be a minimum. make him a healthy scratch and bring up a minor leaguer for a week. show him right away that is not acceptable. I like to get on the goalies for giving up weak goals or even goals they shouldnt stop, but the reality is, they play hard. this is just disgusting and should not be tolerated. suspension and fine, nothing less

i dont understand how none of the sabres have retaliated for it on him or sobotka. 2 players injured by dirty plays and nothing happens

i will be honest. the sabres defense is not great tonight, but hutton is not doing them any favors. the sabres can score 6 goals tonight, and i dont think they will win. im not exaggerating on this either

if i was kruegar, i would have 37 doing nothing but shooting at the goal. for every miss, he has to skate around the rink. one day of 6000 shots and 5000 laps, i suspect he wont miss the wide open goal again

I dont think he is elite yet. I stress yet. He is clearly above everyone else on the team. I think in 1 more year and he might become elite Obviously if he continues on the pace of 100+ points he could be considered elite, but I think he is still a bit inconsistent. I also think he has a bit of an attitude issue. I can't put my finger on it though

I don't realistically see one of our best defenseman playing as forward long term. It's one thing to do because 27 forwards are hurt like the sabres have, but I don't see montour doing it long.

the idea of an injury causes the offender to get the same vacation time + a game would completely change the way hockey is played. nobody would check anyone. People would run away from bogosian to make sure he didnt shatter as they skated by him. Could you imagine if you gave bogosian a minor check and he was out 67 games, since that's his MO, and the dude that accidentally bumped him got 70 games b/c bogo is made of glass

The sabres are coming off a nice win on the road and looking for some payback to Kucherov after he manhandled Sobotka. I'm surprised the police weren't involved, but I digress. ?
