This team is literally bad at everything. Can't score, can't defend, can't do anything on the powerplay and our GM defends this trash product on the ice, it's a miracle any fans are going to games, not a chance I'd waste my money on this.

a crossbar, 2 missed nets and a Peterka pass instead of a shoot, This team is very hard to watch.

I hope Don gets well soon! Seth Appert is basically a Don Granato clone so I'm not surprised. We want Matt Ellis nowhere near this team yet here he is as an assistant.... LOVELY!!!!

Just like the Sabres the Amerks have no answer at goalie and poor defense.... Looking at the lineup it looks like every player is 5'11" or smaller and 180 lbs or lighter accept a select few.

To further add to his terrible signings, he then doubled up on terrible defensemen in Clifton/E. Johnson.

I lost my faith in Adams last season when he chose development over a chance to make the playoffs in 13 seasons. I thought there were several goalies we could have went after and there were some good, defensive defensmen also and our only pickup was Greenway. This guy isn't a winner imo and Granato has lost the team completely, every time we lose he has a built in excuse with no direction or answer. If we wait until the end of season to let these guys go I think it could really impact the youth on this team. Why in the world would Pegula extend these guys for multiple years without even making the playoffs yet? It baffles me completely!

I think the main issue is Granato tried changing them into something they're not and now they're all in their heads. I would love Berube or Gallant to whip them into gear but I'm not sure if we could land either of them, plus is this group even considering letting Granato go? If not they could be shell shocked by the end of the season. If we get another Granato type of HC I think we're screwed, we need a proven HC.

If we wait until then, there will not be a team in Buffalo any longer because no fan is going to sit through this imo.

Dont worry, Granato will bench Ryan Johnson for owen Powers mistakes.

There were a bunch of players with career years last season, it was bound for some to have a dip but everyone aside from J.J. Peterka has regressed. Every pickup that Adams made has been a bust in (Clifton/Johnson) and almost everyone in here knew that Okposo/Girgensons shouldn't have been brought back accept our great GM.

This is not just Granato, Adams is a big part of this mess as well along with this entire assistant staff..... They should all be relieved of their duties.

I wished they wouldn't have, I just don't think he's a Stanley Cup winning coach, he can't even get us to the playoffs!

I'll stream the Sabres game on the computer and watch the Bills game at the same time once they coincide, hopefully it will be happy times and no ***** of mine gets thrown out the window.

I truly believe once we get a real NHL coaching staff (one can only hope) that he can become the player he was looking like last season. All the defenders look lost and scared out there, they need direction and discipline or again at the very least a defensive assitant to help his game because whoever is teaching defense now, shouldn't be!

I think we need to get rid of the dead weight on this roster not the talent.... Girgensons, Okposo, Olofsson, E Johnson, Krebs, Jost, Jokiharju, Comrie, UPL and deal them for Eric Robinson clones... Guys who give their all every single game. There is no need for a drastic change yet unless it's like a player like Savoie/Östlund or Rosen to go with another high priced player (Olofsson) for another player. There is talent on the roster, we need a disciplinarian to beat it out of them!

There is no accountability anywhere from coaches, to players... The only shake up so far has been juggling lines and for some odd reason benching our best defensemen on most nights Ryan Johnson. Other than that not a single assistant coach has been let go, the power play is inept and yet whoever runs it continues to run it and same with the defense. At the very least bring in some better assistants who can help these guys because they're falling flat on their faces. I liked Don Granato developing the young talent on our team, I thought he did a masterful job getting the kids prepared but now when it comes to maturing their game I think this is beyond his expertise imo, we now need a hard nosed coach with solid assitants to help mold their game and fine tune them into better overall players. We have some pretty big players on the team and almost all of them are afraid to hit and get hit or stand in front of the net. We lose so many faceoffs, our goaltending is sporatic, way too inconsistent. Kevyn Adams has been abysmal at identifying the right veterans to pair with tthe youth, every single veteran is struggling probably because Granato's system or lack of is terrible but most likely because our vets are slow and on their last legs or just not very good. Okposo and Girgensons never should have been re-signed, we had opportunities to upgrade both and it back fired, we brought in 2 defensemen in Cifton and Johnson who were both benched in the Stanley cup playoff runs that they had. Also why in the world have we not gotten a veteran goalie worth a damn other than old man Anderson since losing Ullmark? You're telling me not 1 goalie wanted to start in Buffalo? I know Murray opted to stay in Ottawa or wherever he was at but I find it hard to believe we couldn't overpay a single goalie in 3 seasons and we put all our eggs in a rookie goalies basket which is never smart to do. I'd start with letting go of all the assistants responsible for the power play, PK and defense, in no way shape or form do i want Matt Ellis as this teams head coach when Granato is let go.
