I feel there's definitely a place for him on this roster, every playoff team seems to have a guy like this and his defensive play makes him valuable whether that be on a penalty kill or when we're in our own end. I like his play and Larsson seems like a good comparison.

He has only played in 2 games so far, 0 stats and a -1 +/- so far.

Nadeau from what I'm reading looks like we may have gotten a steal there. Defensemen Ryan Johnson hopefully signs here, any word yet? I'm not sure of the eligibility of Isaak Rosen, he may be available and Peterka will also probably start in Rochester next season unless he lights it up in preseason. Are we going to need to restock the goalie cupboards after both our goalies decided to go back to college?

Yeah Middlestadt is such a powerhouse at Center for us. How will we ever replace those 16 points in 32 games.

Yes there are people who have stated on here they wouldn’t mind if Craig Anderson re-signed. I wasn’t just talking about the TB game, I was talking approximately the last 5 games but that TB game was brutal to watch. I saw at least 3 Middelstadt turnovers in that game all leading to scoring chances.

After watching the past 5 games or so I really hope we upgrade our goaltender situation, Anderson clearly isn’t what he used to be. I’d also upgrade Hinistroza (I wanted them to re-sign him but he often is unnoticeable), obviously need 2RHD also. Also I have the exact same view Zof Casey Middlestadt that I did last season, he is often knocked off the puck, he is a turnover machine, doesn’t hustle nearly as hard as he should after said turnover and doesn’t score enough to make up for all the rest so hopefully he can be dealt for a legit goalie or RHD but those are just my opinions.

I think it depends, we'll lose RHD Colin Miller, If Hinostroza doesn't re-sign (I hope he does), Cody Eakin (Fingers crossed we don't re-sign him), Craig Anderson (I hope we sign a better goalie), RHD Mark Pysyk and will we re-sign Victor Olofsson? I think at the very least we'll pickup a starting goaltender, a 4th line C, 2x starting RHD in free agency.

Yikes, almost definitely will be dealt then which is very unfortunate. I'm not a fan at all of the NCAA rules.

First Levi, now Portillo? This NCAA may not be for us but we still have their rights for 2 more seasons.

Maybe when Joker was injured but they've been paired up for most of the season and I don't think DG will mess with that pairing, I think they'll pair Power withe Colin Miller and possibly either keep Samuelsson/Fitzgerald or Samuelsson/Bryson. It's going to be fun to watch down the stretch. I would have really liked to see Jack Quinn up here after his injury, I would have liked to get a glimpse of what was to come but I guess we'll have to wait until next season for that. Also no way on another defensemen that high, we need some goal scorers to add to this group in a big way.

So Jacob Bryson goes down to the AHL after Power gets here?

That's terrible news but at least we have 2 years to persuade him to sign here. I hope this won't be the same for Portillo also.

Now what about Levi? I didn't doubt Powers would sign but Levi is another story although it's great that we're finally starting to resemble a real NHL team.

And just think Power hasn't even gotten here yet and we'll probably sign 2 veteran RHD in FA or a trade.

If he elects to go back to go back I'm guessing he won't be signing here. What a disaster that would be for this organization.

Agree with all accept Middlestadt, I didn't see any of what you said, I thought he was just as bad as usual and although I like Anderson I'd want an upgrade which there will be some available.

Probably the best game I've seen Buffalo play all year regardless if we win or lose. They really look like their getting in sync, looking forward to Power and potentially Quinn joining the roster soon perhaps?

I don't think Adams is trash but to think the best move for a team that hasn't made it to the playoffs in over decade was to do absolutely nothing, you must have your complimentary rose colored homer glasses on. There were some opportunities here to get either more picks, roster players also why were teams giving salary dumps to the Coyotes but not 1 here? I'm over it though and will look forward to watching the kids grow.
