Preparing myself to be underwhelmed... I don't see much in the way of forwards that we have a shot at, I don't think Ehlers, Granlund or Boeser would come here and if we're keeping Byram then Gavrikov is off the table imo. My guess is they sign G Daniel Vladar, LD Ryan Lindgren (hopefully to replace Samuelsson on the bottom line with I'm guessing Timmons). I would think the Peterka replacement would have to come in the form of a trade because I just don't see any top names that would want to sign here imo.

We're penny pinching guys like Bernard-Docker and really expect some top level free agent tomorrow? I'm fully expecting to hear the KA press conference about how he tried but nobody wanted to come here speech. If we do not get at least some upgrade in net (and thats at the very least) and they roll with Levi/UPL again it's over before it even began.

We could have gotten John Gibson from the Ducks. Could have gotten out of that UPL contract and went out and got a backup like Jake Allen in FA while giving Levi at least another full year in the NHL but that’s not what we do.

Almost everything I read said Timmons is basically Clifton without the physicality. This seems like another cost cutting move. We have 1 of the worst rosters in the NHL lead by the blind and now we’re pinching pennies besides.
