  1. I think once you add the fees, it's about the same for the cheap seats. Not having to commit ahead of time when I already lost $ last time is my main goal.
  2. It would be a good game to go to, but I'd rather make a fool of myself crying in front of my family than make a fool of myself crying at the rink. Thinking all the years of listening with my dad who's been gone for 7 years and then the years of listening with my son gets me every time. Sucks that he's gone just as it looks like we could really be getting good again for real this time.
  3. I don't think I've ever bought Sabres tickets at the box office, so I apologize if this is a dumb question... But, do you pay Ticketmaster fees at the box office? The border opens April 1, so I'll be going after then. I may wait a few games though to see if Power and Levi get on the team. On a sidenote, do you think there'd be a chance of a sellout with the border open and Levi and Power in the lineup?
  4. It's no surprise that this team is better when they don't dress Bjork and Hayden. Now we only have one-third of the hot puke line to replace for next year.
  5. You bet your A** that's aggressive. Who's next?!?!?!
  6. People are upset about not getting enough return for Hagg? The guy was a rusty boat anchor all year. Not having him in the lineup is a win for us. Of any NHL players with a minimum 300min played- Hagg is 630 out of 646, 2nd worst on the team to Bjork whose 637. See you the F*** later and don't let the door hit you on the way out!
  7. Next year, the following formula gets us to be a bubble playoff team: -Quinn in the top 6 next year -The guy Quinn bumps down on the 3rd line -Peterka on the 3rd line -Power successfully plays a legit top 4 role -The big IF would be a competent goalie. Other question marks would be a healthy Olofsson back on the PP and getting slightly better than league minimum talent to fill in the last couple unspoken for spots.
  8. I thought Anderson took himself out of the play after the initial save.
  9. I think that's the first time I've seen that. Can a player carry two sticks? Okposo should have got sticks for both of them.
  10. Not saying the analysis is right or wrong, but a lot of the points made seem like they'd be more applicable if the ice sheet was longer. The European ice is the same length, but an extra 15ft wider. My beef with euro ice is that plays get lost in the corners. The distance from the corners and the half walls to the net is just too far for any good plays to be made from there. The D are content to give the F's the perimeter, because they know not much can happen out there. Whenever my kid's U15 team ends up at an away game on the euro ice, I roll my eyes, because it's going to be a crap game to watch. I get why towns put them in though since you can run short track speed skating on those rinks where the NHL size pads are too small.
  11. You'd think an underweight kid would do worse on smaller ice. He didn't do much in the couple games he played on NHL size ice in Alberta.
  12. He didn't exactly destroy things in the Swedish Junior League. It almost sounds like you think the CHL is the inferior league.
  13. I saw that, but puke-worthy title is a puke-worthy title.
  14. Saw the thread title and just wanted to throw in a 🤮 Why so many man crushes on this guy?
  15. They know Quinn, but they're oblivious that he is arguably the top offensive player in the AHL this year.
  16. Haha! Too many beers last night... I probably should have chosen better words but I still stand by the sentiment. Having not read the article, I still don't get what the issue is. Are people sympathetic towards Putin and his invasion? And if so, why?
  17. Propaganda or not, the goal is to resist the invasion for long enough until Putin has 2nd thoughts. Your sympathy for the pathological aggressor in this invasion is duly noted.
  18. That's cool, but he still needs to go... ASAP!
  19. I'm not an administrator here, but I'd give you 24h to clarify your point... otherwise, you're done. I'd probably block you too afterwards, but I'd at least give you the chance.
  20. The Sabres own the show, not the radio station. Same with One Bills Live. I'm not sure of the financials behind it though.
  21. They're cut from a similar cloth. Like Paul Hamilton or not, Reinharts petty rant on him was pretty low brow. In Reinharts case though he's got the whole silver spoon NHL kid thing going too. And he's from Vancouver!
  22. EXCITING UPDATE!!!! I just checked last year's numbers. Tobias Reider, Kyle Okposo, and our good friend Cody Eakin came in last place at 30.8%.
  23. With Bjork benched, they haven't played together since the last update.... but stench remains, and has gotten worse. They are now 368 out of 368. The gap in expected goals per 60 between them and 367 is 3%! The gap between 367 and 358 is just 2.8%. They must be bordering on being one of the all-time bad lines. Hopefully Bjork is now gone for the year, and the other two aren't far behind.
  24. Here's the requirement for a rapid test. "1. Starting February 28: proof of a professionally administered or observed negative antigen test taken outside of Canada no more than 1 day before your scheduled flight or entry to Canada by land or water"
  25. Legal standing? You just do it. What can the KHL do if a player walks away? Nothing. We've got businesses walking away from Russia all over the place. NHL should join suit. The previous agreements are simply niceties that guarantee cooperation between the two leagues, so we don't get players leaving back and forth willy nilly. Sure, the NHL may also lose a player or two, but I'm guessing that in the current climate, players won't be lining up to play in Putin's league.
