The KA hire reeks of Ralph Wilsons hire of Buddy Nix "because I know him".

And strangely the coach brought the GM with. McDermott is an A plus character and he knew Beane was a wizard and I suspect he sold Terry on him. We got lucky indeed as it never works this way. McDermott really was the sole catalyst for the whole success. Terry needs to find the NHL McDermott.

There is a now established culture of dysfunction. It might be unprecedented as proven that we can break the playoff drought record in another year. I suspect TP has major issues behind the scenes. Something is really really wrong year in and out. And mind you, this after the dysfunction of the Drury, Briere fiasco of the last ownership (who lets their stars walk and breaks up a contender?).

The only two alternatives I can see: 1. replace the coaching staff with an experienced coach 2. have to gut the roster and start over can’t keep going on like this

When is the last time a team has been blanked 3 straight games against another team?

This might be bad for the Flyers. These games have been so easy for them they are not going to be used to NHL competition their next game.
