Looks like the Sabres are heading towards the longest drought in history. We have set a new unprecedented standard of dysfunction and futility to the likes never seen before. And I’m not exaggerating. It’s staggering to behold. They are losing a fan base and that’s hard to do in Buffalo. Who in their right minds will buy season tix next year? Once they trade Jack and Sam and likely lose those trades, we could be looking at indefinitely bad hockey. There is nothing on the horizon which gives me hope at this moment. And I’m generally a positive person.

I love how the commentators caught that right away and said “too easy”.

Obviously Ralph is not getting canned. This is a culturally bankrupt and terminally broken hockey team. There are 3 competent veteran coaches available but I hold no hope.

Sounds like something serious for Eichel which would explain a lot. I would take Boudreau but Gallant is my first choice. I would rather keep Sam but we could get a boatload for him if done right.

So it appears 4 regulation wins in 24 games and an 8 game losing streak is STILL not enough to get you fired in Buffalo. Losing is ok. What will it take? I honestly don’t think there is a single other organization that would of not pulled the plug by now. With a back to back against Pitt, and a game vs Washington thereafter, how embarrassing does this get?

Every day this goes on the message I get as a fan is “losing is ok here, there is no standard of accountability”. Compare to the actions of Montreal and Calgary’s management. And those teams are not even remotely close to the ineptitude of this organization.

I’m starting to think Adam’s is not serious the longer RK stays behind the bench. There has to be accountability... everybody in the entire hockey world sees it!

This I’m certain: I’d rather have CT behind the bench than RK.
