Colorado is a team I wish we were, but probably will never be. That team is scary good.

The problem is the existence of aliens has yet to be established. But we do know humans are pretty smart and have invented some amazing things, like splitting the atom. All it would take is someone breaking through to harness electromagnetic energy and boom... that would also explain the relatively small size of the objects. Therefore logically, our best explanation might be human caused. Or it could be an elaborate hoax. A few alternatives to consider.

Maybe Russians, Chinese, or likely our own people have leapfrogged in technology and regularly test it on our conventional military assets (which makes the most sense). They have been at this stuff nonstop since WW2. If somebody had a breakthrough in electromagnetic energy it would happen rather quick after that. I doubt ET is flying interdimensionally in a tiny craft that happens to be typical drone sized. If someone from WW1 era saw a B-2 they would swear it was aliens.

Add Dahlin to the list who was noncommittal about a future contract as well.

Maybe Karmanos, being the first real "adult" in the room in a long time, will make sure Adams does not get completely ripped off in the upcoming trades.

This is madness. The 21st century has not been kind to Buffalo. A revolving door of horrendous and incompetent front offices and this is what you get: A fully entrenched losing and dysfunctional culture that is now unprecedented.

If I’m Jack, Sam, etc... there is NO WAY I’d want to stay here. Who would? The people that pay the price ultimately is the average Sabre fan. The rest of them (both management and players) are making 7 figures. It’s a nice consolation prize for sucking.

I’d through the checkbook and the keys at Gallant. We have an established dysfunctional losing culture. Possibly the worst ever in the NHL. You need someone like Gallant who is skilled at quick turnarounds.

Jack has to be moved out west. If you have an ounce of a plan to ever win the Cup, keeping him in the East is not a good idea.

TP needs to sell the team. This 100% is all on him. He has persistently put terrible people in charge even if the rumors of his interference are not true. 11 year playoff drought is unprecedented which looks inevitable.

Yeah, if this is the case, our front office is worse than imaginable. We are heading into unchartered territory for dysfunctional NHL franchises. This team might be permanently bad indefinitely. Word travels quick in the small world of hockey... no top talent will ever want to come here like this. TP has ruined the Sabres brand despite what has happened with the Bills. Just the facts.

We are about to hand someone an elite center and probably turn them into an instant Cup contender just like St Louis, solely because of how dysfunctional we are. Depressing.

I am almost 50 and this is the most depressing moment in Buffalo sports for the sheer scope of it. Something is extremely unhealthy at the top and the culture of this franchise. For Jack to feel disrespected in his injury handling is extremely telling and beyond disturbing. Wide right, Hull in the crease, Briere/Drury leaving... is not the same as this. Very hopeless feeling for the future of this team.
